“Lo que aprendimos del CEO de Kalomai Holding en tiempos de crisis”
“En medio del caos, los líderes se forjan. En plena crisis, nacen las oportunidades.”
Esa fue una de las frases que más resonó en nuestras mentes luego de recibir la esperada capacitación por parte del Ing. Mario Franklin Chávez, CEO de Kalomai Holding. Esta es la segunda parte del post anterior, donde contamos cómo fue ese primer impacto al escucharlo. Pero ahora... ahora vamos más allá.
Esta capacitación reabrió nuestra mente emprendedora de una manera brutal. Porque cuando te enfrentas a una realidad como la que vivimos actualmente en nuestro país —una crisis financiera que golpea fuerte, un panorama político incierto, escasez de diésel, y un dólar que en el mercado paralelo vale tres veces más—, es muy fácil entrar en modo “sobrevivencia”. Pero nosotros decidimos activar el modo “Oportunidad”.
Y esa fue una de las enseñanzas más poderosas que recibimos: “Las crisis son los filtros que separan a los que esperan de los que accionan.”
💡 ¿Y por qué una crisis es una oportunidad?
Porque tenemos una ventaja que muchos no tienen: Información + Formación.
Estamos constantemente capacitándonos. Conocemos el comportamiento de mercados sólidos como el inmobiliario, donde el valor de la tierra no solo se mantiene, sino que incluso se dispara en tiempos de crisis. ¿Cuántos pueden decir lo mismo? Muy pocos.
También aprendimos que hay modelos de negocio que incluso prosperan en tiempos de caos, como el Turismo Hotelero y el Entretenimiento. ¿Lo habías pensado?
Durante la capacitación también recibimos actualizaciones clave sobre nuestro negocio, y entre ellas, una propuesta que nos emocionó:
🚀 El Desafío Inmobiliario — una experiencia de juego tipo “Banco Inmobiliario” que simula el mercado real y nos entrena mentalmente para tomar decisiones inteligentes en la vida real.
¿Y sabes qué fue lo mejor?
¡El ganador del juego se llevaba el juego a casa!
Esto me hizo recordar los tiempos en los que jugábamos Cash Flow de Robert Kiyosaki. Y me encendió una chispa.
✨ ¿Qué viene ahora?
Algo dentro de mí despertó. Me vi de nuevo liderando, enseñando, compartiendo... Y con el equipo que hoy tengo el privilegio de liderar, ya estamos planeando algo grande.

The Training that Reopened Our Entrepreneurial Minds - Part 2
"What we learned from Kalomai Holding's CEO in times of crisis"
"In the midst of chaos, leaders are forged. In the midst of crisis, opportunities are born."
That was one of the phrases that resonated the most in our minds after receiving the awaited training by Mr. Mario Franklin Chávez, CEO of Kalomai Holding. This is the second part of the previous post, where we tell how that first impact was when we heard it. But now... now we go further.
This training reopened our entrepreneurial mind in a brutal way. Because when you face a reality like the one we are currently living in our country -a financial crisis that hits hard, an uncertain political panorama, diesel shortage, and a dollar that in the parallel market is worth three times more-, it is very easy to go into “survival” mode. But, we decided to activate the “Opportunity” mode.
And that was one of the most powerful lessons we received: “Crises are the filters that separate those who wait from those who act”.
💡 ¿And why is a crisis an opportunity?
Because we have an advantage that many do not have: Information + Training.
We are constantly training ourselves. We know the behavior of solid markets such as real estate, where the value of land is not only maintained, but even soars in times of crisis. ¿How many can say the same? Very few.
We also learned that there are business models that even thrive in times of chaos, such as Hotel Tourism and Entertainment. ¿Had you ever thought of that?
During the training we also received key updates about our business, and among them, a proposition that got us excited:
🚀 The Real Estate Challenge - a “Real Estate Bank” type gaming experience that simulates the real market and trains us mentally to make smart decisions in real life.
¿And you know what the best part was?
¡The winner of the game got to take the game home!
This reminded me of the times when we used to play Cash Flow by Robert Kiyosaki. And it lit a spark in me.
✨ ¿What's next?
Something inside me woke up. I saw myself again leading, teaching, sharing.... And with the team that today I have the privilege to lead, we are already planning something big.
An idea that is taking shape and that we will soon reveal in an upcoming article. ¿What will it be about? I assure you, you're going to like it.
