The Decklist: Shiney pile of S&*^t, Well sortof
This deck is a pile of shiney shit. But it's honestly a fun pile of shiney crap that makes absolutely no sense to put together in this order when fran exists etc. It plays different every time due to needing to strategically draw cards and delve what you need when you need it. There is a lot of forsee available in the deck at this point and offers quite a bit of opportunities to pull some interesting plays with tinker tinker and spell bursting the manathirst golem. It's a fun deck but it's extremely budget (or was anyway). Most of these cards costed 1-10 USD at the time. A few were closer to 20 like dro and the raptors. Which for a diamond deck is pretty cheap and also shuffles well with atlanteans...... Ok no that's not true most of these cards are usable but ironically not in aggro atlanteans with francesa surging signal. Is this deck worth it? I'd say yes. I got hundreds of matches of enjoyment out of it (and then hundreds after that hehe).
Shine Maximizing: Cost over value
The cost of the deck is low for a diamond deck, but is it worth it? The earning does ROI after a period of time but it is a long slog and even though the delving makes every match a bit different eventually even that grows tiresome. I was at it for months to receive the fabled "return on investment" in these cards and had a resolution to not get alternate diamond decks until I had some serious numbers to pitch my deck as it may be scholared/rented out eventually. This deck earns on average about 15-25 $GODS tokens at any rank that earns if you win at least 3 games each day. This isn't much but is alright, I moreso did this to prove a point. To ROI one diamond deck is a slog and emotional drain on the game. I have been using meteorite cards in mythic and having a grand ol time again. However I would like this deck to be appreciated and played by someone and will try and make that happen even if it isnt me. It really is a fun time if you actually aren't trying to ROI it, perfect for a scholar deck. It has a high skill cap and really is throwing shit into the wall to hope for something that splatters in a more post impressionist art sort of way and less of a chimpanzee sort of way.
What ranks? What earning?
As you can see the earning can be pretty good, but the rank will be up and down and up and down all the way from midnight shadow to mythic. Because even with the best piloting this deck is very RNG dependent and gambay by design. You will lose just because the gods decide it, and you will also inexplicable win games because the gods decide it. You should somewhat orient yourself with path of magic as it is very utile to use in both early and late game scenarios depending on the matchup as it provide removal in what many would think and consider a creature heavy deck. This is the most cost effective to earning potential version of scry atlanteans I found so for. It does work really well (when it works) and when it doesn't work out it is a rather miserable failure. There is rarely an in between.
Talking Tidbits: Shine Prison
This shine prison was honestly bearable. Not as mind numbing as just slamming out the same cards every game. At least the variations in delving the actual spells from vivid imaginations and path of magic. The tinker tinker combinations with ultra armored frontlines or extra removals/spell gen and a bunch of other kooky stuff can happen. It does run WEIRD shit you probably will want to push to the bottom of your deck or ideally never draw. These cards are really fun when they do their thing, but they may not always even get to display their grandeur. Overall I give this shiney deck a good rating, Minimum security style prison with many caveats to actually enjoy myself. Might even stay a bit longer if the forge stays down, but would be nice to switch to something unexpected for you folks if I'm going to shine farm it I'm going to do it in style. Using atlanteans in a domain rarely seen by the naked eye, let alone in diamond. It'll be fun and a focal point for at least a few months. But it will be nice to have decks to switch between. If anyone is interested in playing this deck for a 50/50 split let me know. I can only play one diamond atlantean deck at a time after all. Cheers and thanks for reading everyone. Just posting about a shiney deck I've played with extensively and celebrating a new deck on the horizon. It has been too long. You all rock and are what make it worth posting, Cheers.
