Today, I want to share with you a charming and delicate craft project—a decorative branch made from foam, adorned with flowers, little birds, and hearts. It's a perfect piece to add a sweet and colorful touch to any corner of your home, especially if you'd like to place it on the fridge. It's a simple project, but full of lovely details, ideal for letting your creativity flow and enjoying the crafting process. Next, I'll show you step by step how I made my project. I'll start by displaying the materials.

Comenzamos dibujando la rama sobre foami negro y luego la recortamos. A continuación, pasamos a las flores, una vez recortadas, cortamos uno de los pétalos y hacemos un corte hacia el centro. Luego, unimos los pétalos laterales superponiéndolos ligeramente y los fijamos con silicona para darles forma. En el centro de cada flor colocamos una perla decorativa. Distribuimos las flores a lo largo de la rama. En mi caso, decidí pegar primero las flores y luego añadir las perlas, ya que tenía dudas de si me alcanzarían todas y, en caso contrario, pensaba sustituir el centro con otro material.

We start by drawing the branch on black foam and then cutting it out. Next, we move on to the flowers. Once they are cut out, we trim one of the petals and make a cut toward the center. Then, we overlap the side petals slightly and glue them together with silicone to give them shape. In the center of each flower, we place a decorative pearl. We distribute the flowers along the branch. In my case, I decided to glue the flowers first and then add the pearls, as I wasn’t sure if I had enough of them. If not, I planned to replace the center with a different material.

Pasamos ahora a las aves, para las cuales recortaremos cuatro piezas con forma de lágrima curvada. Dos de ellas serán de mayor tamaño, en color negro, para formar el cuerpo; las otras dos, más pequeñas y en rojo, servirán como alas. Estas se colocan en diagonal sobre el cuerpo, de forma que sus puntas sobresalgan un poco. Para los picos, recortamos dos pequeños triángulos y los fijamos en la cabeza, ligeramente inclinados hacia arriba, como si las aves estuvieran cantando al aire. Finalmente, colocamos dos pequeñas perlas para simular los ojos. Para unir los cuerpos a la rama, utilizamos dos tiras delgadas de foami negro que funcionarán como soporte.

Now we move on to the birds, for which we will cut out four teardrop-shaped pieces with a slight curve. Two of them, larger and in black, will form the body; the other two, smaller and red, will serve as wings. These are placed diagonally on the body so that their tips stick out slightly. For the beaks, we cut two small triangles and attach them to the heads, slightly tilted upward, as if the birds were singing to the sky. Finally, we place two small pearls to represent the eyes. To attach the bodies to the branch, we use two thin strips of black foam that will act as supports.

Finalizaremos haciendo los corazones. Recortaremos seis piezas, tres corazones negros pequeños y tres rojos un poco más grandes. Luego, pegamos los corazones negros en el centro de los rojos, creando un efecto de borde.A continuación, cortamos tres tiras delgadas de foami negro que fijaremos en la parte inferior del tronco vertical, dejando que cuelguen hacia abajo. Pegamos los corazones a la altura deseada y cortamos el exceso de las tiras para ajustarlas. Por último, en la parte posterior de la decoración, colocamos varios imanes para poder adherirla a la nevera.

We’ll finish by making the hearts. We will cut out six pieces—three small black hearts and three slightly larger red ones. Then, we glue the black hearts in the center of the red ones, creating a border effect. Next, we cut three thin strips of black foam and attach them to the bottom of the vertical trunk, letting them hang down. We glue the hearts at the desired height and trim the excess from the strips to adjust them. Finally, on the back of the decoration, we place several magnets so it can be attached to the refrigerator.
