I totally feel the same way! Most of my friends now have dummy/alt accounts where they only let close friends in. That’s where the silly, unfiltered posts go, all the stuff we can all laugh about without feeling too self-conscious. I kinda miss when that was the vibe everywhere.
I’m also really glad I found Hive, even if it was just in 2022. It feels like a safe place to share random photos and thoughts that I don’t usually post on other socials for the exact reasons you mentioned. It’s refreshing to scroll through here and see genuine posts, not just ads 😅
