Pushing the APR of CTPSB to 16%

Since writing the last post, I have realized that with the reserves that we have accumulated, we can do better than to keep the APR of the CTPSB token at 15%. There are today 751 Hive in these reserves and our normal level is something around 300. Considering this, I made some calculations and with taking every week some of these reserves, we can easily push the APR of CTPSB to 16%. I believe with the accumulated reserves we can do that for about half a year without problems.

Why pushing to 16% APR ?

We all know that we get 15% on savings on HBD, so I believe that it's important to go above this psychological barrier and offer more. By fixing the return of CTPSB to 16% for the coming half year, I believe we not only give stability to investors but also the outlook of a return above average.

The nice side effects

When using these reserves, we actually add more hive power to the underlying @ctpsb account. By doing that, we give the account more voting power and more curation returns which will stabilize and increase the return for the token holders in the long run. Pared to the burning of CTPSB tokens, this is a promise for a long term high return for the token.

From a broader perspective, regarding the Liotes project as a whole, this will add value to the LEN and LENM tokens. CTPSB is one of the main tokens in the reward pool of the LEN:LENM pool. By increasing the return of CTPSB, we also increase the possible return for putting LEN and LENM in the diesel pool.
