When the CTPSB project was added to the Liotes ecosystem, it wasn't only for reasons proper to CTPSB. This token is actually fulfilling an important role for Liotes.
One of the main income sources for people owning LEN and LENM tokens, is to provide liquidity in the reward pool LEN:LENM. For a very long time, we have added the CTPSB token as a reward token to this pool. The reason is very simple:
When you look at the graph of the value evolution of CTPSB, you can see that the progression is very linear over time. The CTPSB token is worth the hive power the account @ctpsb owns divided by the number of CTPSB tokens in circulation. This means that thanks to curation rewards, author rewards and other income sources, the CTPSB token is actually growing organically over time.
Evolution of the CTPSB value from 2020 until now
When we add CTPSB tokens as rewards to the liquidity pool LEN:LENM, we actually manage to have a token that is growing in value over time and this offsets the additional liquidity that is added to the pool. For most diesel pools, the return of these pools is going down over time when more people add liquidity. Thanks to CTPSB, we have managed to keep the APR of the LEN:LENM pool quite stable or even growing over time.
To have a nice growth with the CTPSB token therefore not only helps the owners of the token but also the people providing liquidity to LEN:LENM. The more APR we have in this liquidity pool, the more APR we will also get for staking LENM directly.
