When running a project for a long time like I do for CTPSB, it's sometimes worth to repeat core features of the project. This is the reason why today, I want to explain again how CTPSB works and why it gains value in the long run.
To understand the project, it's important to know that the CTPSB is nothing else than a tokenized hive account. The hive account in question is the @ctpsb account. The hive power on this account is owned by the holders of the CTPSB token. The account is growing in several ways:
Curation rewards
The most important growth for the account is the curation reward that the staked hive is generated. The account follows the curation trail of the liotes.voter account.
Organic growth
Staked hive grows at a rate of about 2.7% APR. This is also the case for this account.
Post rewards
We try to post regular posts with the @ctpsb account. Whenever we create such a post, the value of the post rewards is added to the hive power of the account.
Second layer tokens
The project owns a certain amount of second layer hive tokens. These tokens generate income and this income is sold for hive power
All these income sources add constant value to the @ctpsb account and make the hive power grow on a quite regular basis.
This means that the token value grows at a same rate and that is why we can see the nice evolution of the CTPSB token and to more or less guarantee that the growth will continue on a similar basis.
Here the numbers of this week
