I've been reading and listening to discussions about the current state of the crypto market, and many are already doubting whether we will actually have an alt season or if it has already passed. If the alt season did happen, then it’s clear that Hive didn’t perform well during this period. Compared to other altcoins, Hive has underperformed in terms of price, despite consistent development. While progress has been slow, I still believe it’s meaningful because it’s steering the blockchain toward greater efficiency and scalability.
At this point, I’d rather see a blockchain that is being developed to handle more users effectively. It makes more sense to focus on improving scalability because Hive is designed to be an everyday blockchain. It aims to support transaction volumes comparable to mainstream social platforms like X, Reddit, or even YouTube. Reaching the level of efficiency and scalability of these platforms is a major challenge that Hive’s frontend developers must address.
I've been using Hive apps daily, and I really appreciate that we truly own the data and content we post on Hive.
That’s something users come to appreciate as they engage with the platform. Everything they write on any frontend becomes part of the blockchain itself—a growing, immutable database.
Hive is an excellent starting platform for new content creators.
If you check the trending page, you'll notice that some of the well-rewarded posts are introduction posts from newly onboarded users—proof of the welcoming nature of the platform’s curators.
I believe Hive is the only platform where a creator can achieve success even with their very first post, making it a great way to start building their stake and influence.
Hive is an asset!
Both Hive and HBD can serve as valuable assets—all it takes is staking them.
Of course, you can choose to manage your funds in a way that feels secure to you. Given Hive’s current price movement, some may find it logical to swap it for HBD to preserve its value. And as you may already know, HBD can be staked to generate more HBD at a 15% APR.
This makes Hive a platform that caters to everyone. Both investors and creators have the opportunity to grow their accounts in a way that benefits both parties. It all depends on the path each person chooses for their journey on the platform.
Hive offers opportunities for both creators and investors, allowing them to grow their stake in a way that suits their goals. Whether through content creation, staking, or strategic investments, everyone has a chance to benefit from the platform’s unique ecosystem. In the end, success on Hive comes down to the choices you make and how you engage with the community.
