Hey yo, Holozing players! How did your Alpha Vial openings go?
I noticed a few people I follow showing off their Holozing pulls on Snaps, which reminded me that I actually have five Vials waiting to be opened too. I started feeling a bit of FOMO, so I logged into my Holozing account to check them out. I was a little disoriented at first since the website had a minor update, but after a few seconds of clicking around, I finally found the section with my Vials. There they were... just waiting for me to open them, LOL.

Opening the Vials was pretty straightforward... it only took a few seconds of waiting while watching the Cube’s animation. It was actually dope! I really liked the 3D effect; it added a bit of a luxurious touch to the experience. It didn’t feel like a simple, cartoonish presentation... it was polished and well-made.
As for my first Vial, I pulled Zappit as my first creature. Cool! I like electric-type creatures, so that felt like a lucky pull for me. :)
The first thing I noticed about Zappit was the huge gap between its attack and defense stats. That made me curious about how it performs in battles... I initially thought a creature like this would have higher attack power, but hey, what do I know, right? I definitely want to test it out in combat to see how it compares to other creatures.
Because of that curiosity, I decided to open another Vial for comparison… and then I pulled a Walle. Actually, I ended up getting three Walles after opening two more Vials, LOL.
Have you noticed something about my Walle’s stats? Its attack power is about 650 times higher than my Zappit’s! Naturally, I’d assume that it could one-shot a Zappit and win instantly in a 1v1 match. Even after factoring in all the other stats and comparing their averages, Walle still completely dominates Zappit.
That makes me wonder... is there anything in the game that could counter a heavy hitter like Walle using a low-attack creature such as Zappit? I guess that’s something I’ll have to discover later on as I play more.
And then, for my last Vial… I finally pulled something other than Walle — my first Infurno!
This creature, for me, has a good balance between its stats — so at least I’ve got something reliable to use whenever I’m uncertain about a battle. Regardless, I still think Walle is the superior creature among all the ones I pulled today.
As much as I’d love to get a Wrackoo, I’m already out of Vials. I guess I’ll grab a few more once the price of Hive goes up. Another option is to try capturing in-game creatures... I do have plenty of capture cards in my inventory, so I might as well put them to good use. Cheers!
Overall, this Alpha Vial opening was such a fun experience... a mix of surprise, curiosity, and excitement. I can’t wait to test these creatures in battle and see how their strengths and weaknesses play out. Here’s to more pulls, more captures, and more adventures in Holozing!
