Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

Welcome to another Caturday update; the first of the month of September!

There are still some good sunny spots!

So, we have made it to September... and we can already tell that fall is not so far away. Aside from the fact that the days are starting to get noticeable shorter, we are also seeing more and more foggy damp mornings.

Of course, there are still many prized sunny spots to be enjoyed for naptime, but the idea of a warm cat bed is starting to sound more and more appealing!

Yes, they have pretty much shredded the bottom of this cat tree!

With shorter days, the Hoomans are now spending a little less time outside in their garden, and that also means more playtime for cats!

Soon it will time time for indoor hobbies and activities, which means lots of interesting things for us to get into!

As we have mentioned in the past, the Mom-Hooman has been spending a lot of time being out-of-town, visiting the Daughter-Hooman and her new baby boy in Seattle.

She's very excited about being a grandmother, so we expect there will be lots of trips ahead! Thankfully, the Dad-Hooman takes good care of us cats when she is not here!

"We're trying" to find more time for blogging, but it is proving to be difficult. The Dad-Hooman and all his work is being the bottleneck here, because we cats still don't have opposable thumbs to to use the computer keyboard.

I guess it is just something we have to accept, as long as the world continues to experience "difficult times."

Thankfully, everyone at our place is in good health, including our elderly Smudge. She's really quite remarkable, at 20 years of age, although she is a bit arthritic in the hind quarters.

We're grateful that we have been able to give her almost four years of peaceful "retirement," since she came to live with us.

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
