Let us trust in the Lord's provision for us; He will give us everything we need at the perfect time and in the perfect way.
Now the serpent was more cunning than any other wild animal that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” 2 The woman replied to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from any tree in the garden.” 3 “But God did say, ‘You must not eat from the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not even touch it, or you will die.’” 4 “You will not die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who ate of it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized that they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves. 8 Then they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
Genesis 3:1-8
God knows everything; no detail escapes Him. He knows the needs of each one of us, and He will take care of each one of them in His own way and at His own time. But we also know that we can become impatient, and it is very tempting to act according to our own will, to forge our own path, perhaps with the intention of accelerating the results. But the key here is to keep our eyes on Jesus, to focus on His promises and what He desires for us, to follow the path He has laid out, which is always what is best for us.
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. Psalm 20:7
Some people place their security and their hopes in many vain things, such as their wealth, their bank accounts, their prestige, their property, or simply their relationships. But all these things are fleeting; they all pass away, and they can disappear at any moment, whereas in Christ we have security; in Him we have peace in every way, and this is true security.
We have an enemy who subtly seeks to divert our attention from Christ. He wants us to depend on ourselves, on our own efforts, so that we believe we are, or can be, independent of God, self-sufficient. This is how he deceived Adam and Eve, assuring them that he was giving them information far more important than what God Himself had given them. They exchanged the truth for a lie, and this brought serious consequences not only for them but for all of humanity. This is an example that shows us that if we allow thoughts other than those God gives us to take root in our minds, our actions can lead to unwanted or very serious consequences.
It is important that we have discernment and understanding of all the good things and the rewards we receive through the relationship we are developing with the Lord Jesus, beginning with the fact that we are children of God simply by having believed in Him. We must learn to depend on Him, understanding that He will help us in everything, especially in preventing us from turning our gaze, our focus, away from Him.
Confiemos en la provisión del señor para con nosotros, él nos dará todo lo que necesitamos en el momento perfecto en la manera que él considere perfecta.
Pero la serpiente era astuta, más que todos los animales del campo que Jehová Dios había hecho; la cual dijo a la mujer: ¿Conque Dios os ha dicho: No comáis de todo árbol del huerto? 2 Y la mujer respondió a la serpiente: Del fruto de los árboles del huerto podemos comer; 3 pero del fruto del árbol que está en medio del huerto dijo Dios: No comeréis de él, ni le tocaréis, para que no muráis. 4 Entonces la serpiente dijo a la mujer: No moriréis; 5 sino que sabe Dios que el día que comáis de él, serán abiertos vuestros ojos, y seréis como Dios, sabiendo el bien y el mal. 6 Y vio la mujer que el árbol era bueno para comer, y que era agradable a los ojos, y árbol codiciable para alcanzar la sabiduría; y tomó de su fruto, y comió; y dio también a su marido, el cual comió así como ella. 7 Entonces fueron abiertos los ojos de ambos, y conocieron que estaban desnudos; entonces cosieron hojas de higuera, y se hicieron delantales. 8 Y oyeron la voz de Jehová Dios que se paseaba en el huerto, al aire del día; y el hombre y su mujer se escondieron de la presencia de Jehová Dios entre los árboles del huerto.
Génesis 3:1-8
Dios sabe muy bien, a él no se le escapa ningún detalle, sabe las necesidades de cada uno de nosotros y él se encargará de cada una de ellas de la forma que el desea a su tiempo. Pero claramente sabemos que nosotros podemos desesperarnos, y es muy tentador hacer según nuestra voluntad para formar nuestro propio camino como por ejemplo con la intención de acelerar los resultados. Pero la clave aquí está en mantener los ojos puestos en Jesús, de mantener el foco en sus promesas y lo que él desea para nosotros, seguir el camino trazado por el que siempre es lo mejor para nosotros.
Estos confían en carros, y aquellos en caballos; Mas nosotros del nombre de Jehová nuestro Dios tendremos memoria.
Salmos 20:7
Hay personas que ponen su seguridad y sus esperanzas en muchas cosas vanas como por ejemplo sus riquezas, sus cuentas bancarias, el prestigio, las propiedades o simplemente las relaciones. Pero todas estas cosas son fluctuantes, todo esto pasa y de un momento a otro pueden desaparecer, mientras que en Cristo hayamos seguridad, en él tenemos paz en todos los sentidos y esto es plena seguridad.
Contamos con un enemigo que muy sutilmente busca desviar nuestra vista de Cristo, quiere que nosotros dependemos de nosotros mismos, de nuestros esfuerzos para que creamos que somos o que podemos ser independientes de Dios, autosuficientes. De esta manera engañó a Adán y a Eva, les aseguró que el le estaba dando una información mucho más importante que Dios mismo, estos cambiaron la verdad por la mentira y todo esto trajo graves consecuencias no sólo para ellos sino para toda la humanidad. Esto es un ejemplo que si dejamos que pensamientos diferentes a los que Dios nos propone tomen control hogar en un lugar en nuestra mente, nuestras acciones pueden llevarnos al nuevo tener consecuencias que no deseamos o muy graves.
Es importante que tengamos discernimiento y comprensión de todo lo bueno y del resultado recompensa que estamos obteniendo a través de la relación que estamos desarrollando con el señor Jesús, en primer lugar desde que somos hijos de Dios simplemente por haber creído en él. Debemos aprender a depender de él entendiendo que nos ayudará en todo sobre todo evitar desviar nuestra mirada, nuestro enfoque de él.
