God clearly blesses every good deed; these are undoubtedly acts of obedience to His will. Every act, whether small or seemingly insignificant, is taken into account by God, and nothing goes unnoticed.
Now it happened that while Jesus was by the lake of Gennesaret, the crowd pressed upon him to hear the word of God. 2 And he saw two boats near the shore; and the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets. 3 Then he entered one of the boats, which belonged to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore; and he sat down and taught the people from the boat. 4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.” 5 Simon answered, “Master, we have worked all night and caught nothing; but at your word I will let down the nets.” 6 And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their nets began to break. 7 Then they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them; and they came and filled both boats, so that they began to sink.
Luke 5:1-7
Being faithful to God in our acts of obedience or doing good not only brings excellent results to us, but these acts also bring blessings to other people. That is why it is important to clearly understand this principle.
We have the example of Peter, who was a fisherman. We remember well the story of how he spent the entire night trying to catch fish without success. But later, while washing his nets, he approached the Lord Jesus and asked him to use his boat to get closer and speak to the crowd on the shore. Peter was clearly very tired, yet he agreed to Jesus' request. The result was that the entire crowd was blessed because they were able to hear Jesus.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
God may ask things of us at times that seem inconvenient or unexpected, and we might feel tempted to wait for others to respond or agree. We might even want to avoid taking that step, but let us always remember that God's plans, whatever they may be, are always for our good.
After this, the Lord made another request: He asked Peter to take the boat into deep water and then cast the nets. Peter argued based on his experience and understanding of things, saying that he had been fishing all night and that this would be completely pointless, since Peter was a professional fisherman. But despite his argument, he did what the Lord asked, and his obedience resulted in an abundance of fish—everything Peter needed and much more.
Peter wasn't thinking about the reward he would receive for obeying the Lord's request. But that was indeed the consequence. Every good deed or act of obedience on Peter's part led to greater blessings, such as the opportunity to bless many others and to have his own needs met. This is a message for us: Let us commit to following the Lord's instructions, not only in the obvious or visible matters, but also in the small things, trusting that the Lord will reward every good deed we are willing to perform.
Nos bendice claramente cada acto de bien, estos sin dudas son actos de obediencia el deseo de Dios, cada acto sea pequeño o que parezca insignificante es tomado en cuenta por Dios y nada pasa desapercibido.
Aconteció que estando Jesús junto al lago de Genesaret, el gentío se agolpaba sobre él para oír la palabra de Dios. 2 Y vio dos barcas que estaban cerca de la orilla del lago; y los pescadores, habiendo descendido de ellas, lavaban sus redes. 3 Y entrando en una de aquellas barcas, la cual era de Simón, le rogó que la apartase de tierra un poco; y sentándose, enseñaba desde la barca a la multitud. 4 Cuando terminó de hablar, dijo a Simón: Boga mar adentro, y echad vuestras redes para pescar. 5 Respondiendo Simón, le dijo: Maestro, toda la noche hemos estado trabajando, y nada hemos pescado; mas en tu palabra echaré la red. 6 Y habiéndolo hecho, encerraron gran cantidad de peces, y su red se rompía. 7 Entonces hicieron señas a los compañeros que estaban en la otra barca, para que viniesen a ayudarles; y vinieron, y llenaron ambas barcas, de tal manera que se hundían.
Lucas 5:1-7
Ser fiel a Dios en nuestros actos de obediencia o de hacer el bien no solamente nos trae excelentes resultados a nosotros, también son actos que traen bendición a otras personas, por eso es importante tener bien en claro este principio.
Tenemos el ejemplo de Pedro que era pescador, recordamos muy bien la historia en que se pasó toda la noche tratando de pescar algo sin tener éxito. Pero después mientras lavaba la Red, se acercó al señor Jesús y le pidió usar su embarcación para acercarse y hablar a la multitud que estaba en la orilla. Pedro claramente estaba muy cansado sin embargo accedió a la petición de Jesús el resultado fue que toda la multitud fue bendecida debido a que pudo escuchar a Jesús.
Porque yo sé los pensamientos que tengo acerca de vosotros, dice Jehová, pensamientos de paz, y no de mal, para daros el fin que esperáis.
Jeremías 29:11
Dios quizás nos hace peticiones en los momentos menos oportunos para nosotros, momento que no esperan y podemos sentirnos tentados esperando que otros respondan o que accedan, quizás queremos evitar dar el paso pero recordemos siempre que los planes de Dios, sea lo que sea, son solamente para nuestro bien, siempre!
Después de esto el señor hizo otra petición, le pidió que lleve la embarcación en la profundidad del mar y que luego echan las redes del agua, Pedro argumento conforme a su experiencia y su visión de las cosas, dijo que estuvo trabajando toda la noche y esto sería completamente inútil ya que Pedro era un profesional en el área de la pesca. Pero aún así con su argumentación hizo lo que el señor le pidió y su obediencia simplemente resultó en abundancia, en todo lo que Pedro necesitaba y mucho más.
Pedro en ningún momento estaba pensando en la recompensa que obtendría por obedecer a lo que pedí al maestro, pero si fue esa la consecuencia, cada acto de bien o cada acto de obediencia por parte de Pedro dio lugar a mayores bendiciones como por ejemplo la oportunidad de bendecir a muchas otras personas y ser bendecido él también en sus necesidades. Éste es un mensaje para nosotros aquí nos comprometamos a seguir las instrucciones del señor no sólo en los asuntos evidentes o visibles, en los pequeños actos confiando así que el señor recompensará cada obra de bien que estamos dispuesto a realizar.
