We may be living through the most difficult moments of our lives, a situation that is too complex, and yet we can trust that God is in control of everything.
The Lord has established his throne in the heavens, And his kingdom rules over all. 20 Bless the Lord, you his angels, You mighty ones who execute his word, You who obey the voice of his commandment. 21 Bless the Lord, all you his hosts, You his ministers who do his will. 22 Bless the Lord, all you his works, In all the places of his dominion. Bless the Lord, O my soul.
Psalm 103:19-22
In many cases, it is very difficult to understand God's purpose in every adversity we are going through, but we must know that the underlying purpose of everything is always for our good; God only works for a better situation for us.
In the Bible, we have many examples, and David's psalms present how important it is to trust in the Lord and how important it is to understand that He is in control even when the most difficult situation arises. We remember that David was persecuted by King Saul, a deadly persecution, and God preserved David's life at all times. We have other situations, such as when his son tried to overthrow his reign; the Lord preserved David's reign.
There are many unfortunate circumstances that David experienced, and it became abundantly clear that God protected him and used every situation for extraordinary purposes, even when David failed according to his human tendencies. All of this taught David to trust in God's power and sovereignty in whatever the situation.
12 Riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand to make great and to give authority to all.
1 Chronicles 29:12
Generally, when we face adverse situations, we often ask ourselves questions like: Is God really in control of all of this? And if God isn't in control, who is? If the situations in our lives were truly random or without purpose, nothing would make sense. David affirms that God is in control and rules over everything; he also has the power and authority to strengthen us. We must develop faith in God's ability, that he can deliver us from any difficulty, even when the situations are incomprehensible and we don't understand the reasons for them. However, we can trust in God's purposes, which are always solely for our good.
Podemos estar viviendo los momentos más difíciles de nuestra vida, una situación demasiado compleja, y aún así podemos confiar en que Dios está al control de todo.
Jehová estableció en los cielos su trono, Y su reino domina sobre todos. 20 Bendecid a Jehová, vosotros sus ángeles, Poderosos en fortaleza, que ejecutáis su palabra, Obedeciendo a la voz de su precepto. 21 Bendecid a Jehová, vosotros todos sus ejércitos, Ministros suyos, que hacéis su voluntad. 22 Bendecid a Jehová, vosotras todas sus obras, En todos los lugares de su señorío. Salmos 103:19-22
En muchos casos es muy difícil entender el propósito que Dios tiene en cada adversidad que estamos atravesando, pero debemos saber que el transfondo de todo es siempre para nuestro bien, Dios sólo obra para una mejor situación nuestra.
En la Biblia tenemos muchísimos casos y los salmos de David presentan lo importante que es confiar en el señor y cuán importante comprender que él tiene el control aún cuando se presenta la situación más difícil. Recordamos que David era perseguido por el rey Saúl, una persecución a muerte Y Dios guardó la vida de David en todo momento. Tenemos otras situaciones como es el caso cuando su hijo intentó derrocar su reinado, el señor preservó el reinado de David.
Hay muchísimas circunstancias desafortunadas que le tocó vivir a David y entonces ya quedó más que claro que Dios le protegía y que cada situación utilizaba para los propósitos extraordinarios aún cuando David fallaba conforme a sus tendencias humanas. Todo esto enseñó a David a confiar en el poder y soberanía de Dios en cualquiera que sea la situación.
12 Las riquezas y la gloria proceden de ti, y tú dominas sobre todo; en tu mano está la fuerza y el poder, y en tu mano el hacer grande y el dar poder a todos.
1 Crónicas 29:12
Generalmente cuando enfrentamos a situaciones advGeneralmente cuando enfrentamos esas situaciones adversas viene nosotros preguntas como: ¿realmente Dios está al control de todo esto? Y si no es Dios quien está al control ¿quién está al control? Si realmente las situaciones en nuestras vidas serían algo fortuito o sin propósito nada tendría sentido. David afirma que Dios tiene el control y gobierna sobre todo, también tiene el poder y la potestad de fortalecernos. Nosotros tenemos que desarrollar la fe en la capacidad de Dios, que él puede liberarnos de cualquier dificultad, aún cuando las situaciones son incomprensible y no entendemos las razones de estas, pero si podemos confiar en los propósitos de Dios que siempre son solamente para nuestro bien.
