Our lives begin to be completely transformed when we believe in the truth, when we recognize and understand that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior.
When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” 14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.” 15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” 17 Then Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.”

There is a question that Jesus Christ asked his disciples: "But what about you? Who do you say that I am?" This question hung in the air like a cloud, as the disciples remained completely silent after hearing it. Perhaps they were unsure or afraid. But only one of them had a kind of revelation or understanding about Jesus, and looking at Jesus Christ, he answered: "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God."
In our times, we may not understand the magnitude of calling Jesus Christ "the Messiah" back then. It had many consequences, not all of them positive. That statement condemned some people or directly led to their death or punishment, because the Roman and Jewish authorities persecuted Christians who defended their faith. Anyone who called Jesus the Messiah risked great danger; that is why many of his disciples remained silent, and many Christians remained silent while working to spread the faith in Jesus Christ. Today, we no longer live in the same era, but something quite opposite is happening: believers proclaim Jesus, declare their love for him, say they want to follow in the Master's footsteps, that they have given their lives to the Lord, and that they will do whatever He asks of them, but afterward, they pay absolutely no attention to His work or His kingdom. There is a great discrepancy between what some believers profess with their lips and what they actually do, or their work for the kingdom of God. As children of God, we need to be consistent between what we say and what we do; our actions should reflect the love of Christ by carrying out His work for humanity, primarily by proclaiming His name and sharing the message of Jesus with the nations. What can you do today to demonstrate consistency between your words and actions? Let us remember that there is an entire world, entire generations, who need to know Jesus. You and I are the instruments; will you accept the challenge?
Nuestra vida comienza hacer transformada por completo cuando creemos en la verdad, cuando reconocemos y entendemos que Jesucristo es el señor nuestro salvador.

Hay una pregunta que Jesucristo hizo a sus discípulos: "y vosotros ¿quién decís que soy?", Así como una nube quedó esta pregunta en el aire mientras que los discípulos se quedaron totalmente en silencio después de tal pregunta. Quizás estaban inseguros o asustados. Pero sólo uno de ellos tuvo una especie de revelación o conocimiento acerca de Jesús y mirando a Jesucristo respondió lo siguiente: "tú eres el Cristo, el hijo del Dios viviente".
En nuestros tiempos quizás no entendemos la magnitud que haber llamado "Cristo" al señor Jesucristo en esa época tendría muchísimas consecuencias que no eran las mejores o sea que esa afirmación a algunos condenó o directamente lo llevó a la muerte o castigos debido a que las autoridades romanas y los judíos perseguían aquellos cristianos que defendían su fe. Todo aquel que llamaba a Jesús, el Cristo, corría un gran riesgo, por eso es que muchos de sus discípulos permanecían en silencio, muchos cristianos permanecieron así mientras trabajaban en pos de la fe en Jesucristo.
Hoy ya no vivimos en el mismo siglo pero sucede algo totalmente opuesto, los creyentes proclaman a Jesús, manifiestan que lo aman, que quieren seguir los pasos del maestro, que entregan su vida al señor y que harán lo que él les pida, pero después de esto no se ocupan absolutamente nada acerca de su obra o su reino. Existe una gran discrepancia entre lo que profesa la boca de algunos creyentes y lo que hacen o su trabajo para el reino de Dios. Nosotros como hijos de Dios necesitamos ser coherentes entre lo que decimos y hacemos, nuestras acciones deberían reflejar el amor de Cristo llevando adelante su obra para la humanidad, primeramente proclamar su nombre y dar a conocer a Jesús a las naciones. ¿Qué puedes hacer hoy para demostrar coherencia entre lo que dices y haces? Recordemos que hay toda una humanidad, generaciones completas que necesitan conocer a Jesús, tú y yo somos los instrumentos ¿aceptas el desafío?
