Este sector queda a unos 25 kilómetros de la ciudad de Cumaná, hacia un pueblo que se llama San Juan, sector guaranache, los que conocen el lugar le llaman la laja, ya que como su nombre lo indica hay una laja enorme a un lado del río donde descansamos par de horas antes de regresarnos nuevamente a nuestras casas para completar así los 50 kilómetros en la totalidad del recorrido. Yo active mi ciclo computador cuando llevaba algunos kilómetros desde mi casa, porque siempre olvido activarlo antes, y solamente en la ida, el regreso a casa no lo active, por lo que en el Strava ese es el registro que tengo. El trayecto tiene varios pases de río que atraviesan la carretera de asfalto que es acceso de los habitantes de la población, también en su última parte nos encontramos con un trayecto de solo tierra, otro de arena y otro bastante rocoso por lo que recomiendo solo hacer esta ruta con bicicleta de montaña. Al llegar al río, lo primero que hice fue quitarme mis zapatos y el casco, volar, darme un buen baño de río, luego me comí una barra proteica y unos chocolates que llevaron los chicos. Compartimos un rato y luego nos devolvimos a nuestros hogares felices de haber recargado nuestras energías en contacto con la naturaleza en tan hermoso lugar. Arriving at the river, the first thing I did was to take off my shoes and helmet, fly, take a good river bath, then I ate a protein bar and some chocolates that the guys brought. We shared a while and then we returned to our homes happy to have recharged our energies in contact with nature in such a beautiful place.
