Hello, food hivers. Another healthy viand for this cold season, to be shared on your table with your family.
Sharing this simple recipe, but full of love. Embrace the warmth and nourishment with this comforting soup. With its delicate misua noodles, eggs, and nutrient-rich malunggay/moringa leaves come together in a rich flavor and healthy benefits.
Moringa/Malunggay is one of the healthiest and cheapest vegetables available in the market or in the garden, with more vitamin C, more Calcium and many nutrients and minerals that can boost our health and immune system. What I like about malunggay is that it is easy to cook with any ingredients and can also be found in your garden or in your neighborhood.
Ingredients:
3 gloves of garlic, chopped or minced 1 small size of red onion, chopped or minced 2 pieces of onion spring (optional) 5 small packs of misua noodles 4 cups of water 2 drumsticks of moringa leaves 2 large egg (you can add more eggs) A small amount of oil salt, black pepper
PROCEDURE
- Prepare all the ingredients.
- Add oil to the pan.
- Sauté garlic and onion. I also add spring onion to add aroma and taste, but it's optional.
- Add the 4 cups of water and let it boil.
- When it boils, add the beaten egg and stir gradually. I also add 1 whole egg and let it cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the misua noodles and salt, and a pepper to taste.
- Add the malunggay or moringa leaves and simmer for 1 minute.
AND READY TO SERVE HOT.
