El faro de Torredembarra -España||The Torredembarra Lighthouse

Saludos amigos de @worldmappin. Les he hablado de varios lugares que he visitado en estos casi tres meses que llevo en esta visita a España, la mayoría tienen su punto de partida desde Torredembarra. Hoy quiero compartirle uno de los atractivos para turistas y lugareños de este hermoso pueblo. >Greetings, friends of @worldmappin. >I have told you about several places I have visited during my nearly three months in Spain, most of which have their starting point in Torredembarra. Today I want to share with you one of the attractions for tourists and locals in this beautiful town.  El faro de Torredembarra. Torredembarra es un municipio de la provincia de Tarragona-Cataluña. Su faro es motivo de orgullo para sus pobladores, no solo por su imponente y esbelta estructura, considerado el más alto de la comunidad autónoma de Cataluña, sino que también desde su fabulosa ubicación se pueden disfrutar los más hermosos amaneceres y atardeceres teniendo como punto central el horizonte marino. >The Torredembarra Lighthouse. Torredembarra is a municipality in the province of Tarragona, Catalonia. Its lighthouse is a source of pride for its inhabitants, not only because of its imposing and slender structure, considered the tallest in the autonomous community of Catalonia, but also because its fabulous location offers the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets with the sea horizon as the focal point.   Para acceder al faro hay dos vías: a través de la playa de Torredembarra en un corto y empinado camino de 1,2 km, que no tiene zonas de peligro, el otro acceso es atravesando una urbanización que caminando puede ser exigente y algo más largo que por la playa, si vas en carro al subir la cuesta llegas a una plaza y de allí al faro dos minutos como máximo. >There are two ways to access the lighthouse: via Torredembarra beach along a short, steep 1.2 km path, which has no dangerous areas, or through a residential area, which can be demanding and somewhat longer than the beach route. If you go by car, you will reach a square at the top of the hill, and from there it is a maximum of two minutes to the lighthouse.    Otro aspecto a resaltar es que ofrecen una visita guiada al faro, la cual tiene un coste de 5€, hay que contactar previamente y el cupo para la visita es de cinco personas. El día siete de septiembre que se produjo un eclipse de luna, quisimos reservar y ya no había cupo, pues solo realizan una visita por día a esa hora del atardecer, lo cual es lógico, pues la gente quiere subirlo para observar desde lo más alto el hermoso espectáculo de la caída del sol. Another aspect worth mentioning is that they offer a guided tour of the lighthouse, which costs €5. You have to contact them in advance, and the tour is limited to five people. On September 7, when there was a lunar eclipse, we wanted to make a reservation, but there was no space left, as they only offer one tour per day at sunset, which makes sense, as people want to climb up to watch the beautiful spectacle of the sun setting from the top.  Y a este momento del ocaso es en el que centraré el post de hoy. A lo largo de mis vacaciones he subido varias veces y en distintas horas, tomaré el mejor de todos para comentarles. Subimos en carro porque queríamos estar allí un buen rato, solo íbamos mis hijos y yo, así que preparamos una cava con algunas bebidas y los ingredientes para preparar unos sandwiches o bocatas, como los llaman por aquí para compartir en lo que sería uno de los más bellos atardeceres que he visto. >And it is this moment at sunset that I will focus on in today's post. Throughout my vacation, I went up several times at different times, and I will choose the best one to tell you about. >We went up by car because we wanted to spend a good amount of time there. It was just my children and me, so we packed a cooler with some drinks and ingredients to make sandwiches, or bocatas as they call them here, to share while watching what would be one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen.    La hora de la caída del sol estaba prevista desde las 20:20, aún estaba bastante claro cuando llegamos, buscamos un lugar apropiado para sentarnos y entre animada conversación poco a poco el sol fue descendiendo dejando a su paso hermosas imágenes que recrean el ojo y el alma. >Sunset was scheduled for 20:20 p.m., and it was still quite light when we arrived. We looked for a good place to sit, and amid lively conversation, the sun slowly began to set.    No había terminado de ocultarse el sol cuando sobre el horizonte apareció la luna, esplendorosa y haciéndose sentir. The sun had not yet set when the moon appeared on the horizon, resplendent and making its presence felt.   En conjunto, este paseo ha sido uno de los más bellos y plenos que he disfrutado. Estar con mis hijos y que la noche nos regalará un espectáculo especial la hizo perfecta. Overall, this walk has been one of the most beautiful and fulfilling I have ever enjoyed.
