After two and a half months of practically ignoring my business venture, I am fifteen days away from resuming it, which has me feeling a little stressed and indecisive. One of the ways I have to minimize these effects is to write down what is going through my mind, which also helps me clarify my thoughts and make sense of what I write, what I want, and what I am going to do. Today, I am sharing some of these feelings, the doubts I have, and the first steps I “should” take to get started in a successful and coherent way. To give you some context, I am referring to Biodanza, a venture I formally started in January of this year, after three months of working with a pilot group to raise awareness of the Javier de la Sen Biodanza System in the area where I am located. After this fluctuating group of approximately twenty people, in January I formally started with a consolidated group of eight participants and an average of five who come once or twice a month, paying for the class when they attend. I left this already formed group for three months for personal reasons, with the commitment to meet again on October 4, 2025. During these three months, I have kept in touch with the group through WhatsApp, where twice a week I greet them and share information about biodanza. The date is approaching, and I want to focus the action plan on two fundamental points: A.- Consolidate the existing group. B.- Attract new customers. To do this, I have thought of the following actions: 1.- Starting on Monday, September 15, launch a promotional campaign on social media: Instagram and WhatsApp. 2.- Offer only monthly payments, as I want greater commitment from the floating group. 3.- To attract customers, starting with those I already have, ask them to invite a friend, with the first session being free. I will promote this to the general public. 4.- The week before the first class, I will already be active, so I plan to do a more face-to-face promotion with flyers, leaving them at specific businesses in the area. 5.- Contact friends and neighbors privately to invite them to the first meeting, emphasizing that it will be free. Well, this exercise has really helped me clarify my ideas. I'm going to take this opportunity to illustrate the post by creating the four images that I will use next week on WhatsApp. Done! I still have to create the four images that I will use on Instagram over the weekend and add a short description (50 words) for each one. What a job! Ha ha ha. The first two are intended to provide context and create presence. They will be published on Monday and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and these two already specifically describe the activity that will be carried out. The important thing is that I have clarified my thoughts, I know where I am headed and what I want to do, and for me that is a good first step toward making this reunion a positive experience. I will let you know what I have planned for that day and then share the results with you. Please, if you have any suggestions or comments, let me know in the comments box. I would be very grateful.
