Hace un par de meses que asistí a mi primera plena en este pequeño local, El Antillano, la verdad que se ha vuelto un espacio cómodo para ir y hablar de la vida mientras te tomas una copa. No es como que vas a un bar a tomar algo y ya, pues te reciben muy bien, son bastante hogareños y el ambiente se mueve mucho mientras escuchas mucha música boricua.
Mi amiga española Cristina me hizo la invitación y al llegar nos encontramos con Eva, una Dominicana muy chevere. Pasamos toda la noche hablando y contando nuestros problemas actuales mientras tomábamos piña colada casera, estábamos sentadas justo en la barra y el bartender nos sorprendió con fichas de dominó lo cual mejoró mucho más el momento. Una noche inolvidable y extraordinaria.

A couple of months ago I attended my first plena in this small place, El Antillano, the truth is that it has become a comfortable place to go and talk about life while you have a drink. It's not like you go to a bar to have a drink and that's it, because they receive you very well, they are quite homely and the atmosphere moves a lot while you listen to a lot of Puerto Rican music.
My Spain friend Cristina invited me and when we arrived we met Eva, a very cool Dominican. We spent the whole night talking and telling our current problems while drinking homemade piña colada, we were sitting right at the bar and the bartender surprised us with dominoes which made the night even better. An unforgettable and extraordinary night.
