Do you sometimes get bored of the media noise? I have met some mature men who are not part of some popular social media and when I asked why they said the entire place is too noisy. I can understand with them, not everyone has the eyes to fix on what seems very irritating.
This is one of the reasons I am really siding with web3. It seems a lot of people making up this upcoming web are intellectual and financially minded. We can also add, this industry is still small, keeping it well filtered. Ok, this gap will be closing in very soon as many begin to get more exposure about what this part of the web holds. It is something welcoming, I mean, this web needs to grow out and there is no doubting this.
So it boils down to where can we be heading back to? What happens when web3 gets overcrowded too. First thing first, it means more money for this industry and the second thing: the part I seem not to really enjoy; noise is coming. I am even considering how worse it will be in a totally decentralized web3 platform. Many as we speak are already lost at web2, they spend their entire day scrolling through contents, uploading unnecessary videos, comments and suggestions and end up getting more financially broke than before.
This is why I TRY to keep my space from appearing regularly here. What keeps me coming is just advertisement; I get to gather many eyes at the cost of me showing up and following up, who knows what deal may come up.
Always bored to see myself being tagged or mentioned in some post that are against my standards; what can I do? As an upcoming business you have to cast your nets in many waters. I know I am not the only person feeling this dissatisfaction and I feel a way to curb will soon emerge.
This is why I am looking at a future of media fragmentation. You know everything in one place can also be a big problem. Take for instance, you went to shop for electronics in a market where both locals food, beverages, furniture and the rest are sold.
You are likely to be distracted, this is why many get lost anytime they come online. You just came in to learn this or that and ALL of a suddenly you get a pop up of something very strange. Yes, it takes discipline but wouldn't it be much better if it wasn't even there.

Let me use myself as a case study here; I try to customize my feeds on Facebook; two reasons take me there. The first as I said is advertising; many of the people surrounding me are very used to this web2 environment and secondly, I love listening to gospel videos and short messages. If I am active for an hour plus just know I am trying to digest a gospel message. What I dislike here is that sometimes when going through the videos other non-gospel related videos do set in and I have to clear them off; a big distraction indeed. This is why I am suggesting a fragmentation mentality for web3 ahead of time.
Yes I know for instance, InLeo is trying to become an everything App. Not bad but I feel there will be a need to design everything with professionalism. Maybe dissect everything App to section by section and avoid someone appearing online in the entire sections that make up the media. It will be very nice so some noise makers would be warned off. Different platforms for different activities will no doubt curb distractions.
To conclude, let me add, I know there are a lot of things to look at from here; one of them is the absence of onehouseness. The media I feel will never give a balanced response to this, humans can be very intoxicating. I am not trying to be harsh on words here but it seems there are always people who never value value.
My suggestion for web3 is to be more investment minded, let the noise makers settle for platforms they are already used to. If there is a drift in attention, it may fall back to operate as a hub of inconveniencing activities something that has made many bored already of web2
