The future of reasoning

We wanted it, it is NOW here and we have to NOW worry about some things. When it comes to AI, many are worried about job loss. The only thing I will be thinking of as a disadvantage of Job loss is personal unproductiveness as related to this article but if it is about securing a living I will think the Vice. I have had to explain several times and I am not going to be tired of saying this, ‘the future belongs to investors not workers’. You are not meant to work for money, it is the reverse. If machines fit into labor, let it take hold while we benefit from outcomes as investors.

Tactical thinking is gradually fading off. Trust me, I keep my calculator very close when dealing with numbers. It has become a go to app making daily businessing easy and efficient at the same time. I am just imagining how rigid the old system trading and transactions would have been looking like. Maybe it tooks hours to seal a single deal, just maybe. We are talking of a smarter future, so what is smart here? humans or their inventions. At first it seemed it was ALL concerned with numbers until AI started creeping in.

Yes I know, AI can solve tough arithmetics but it goes beyond that, it has become a daily advisor. Many of us have made Chat GPT and other related AI apps a go-to for day-to -day living. There are many advantages to that; speed, efficiency, productivity and so on. I could remember the very first time a friend introduced me to Chat GPT, it was something very astonishing. Ahh! Such vast knowledge and a near satisfied response. It was as if someone was at the back end giving the feedback. It wasn't someone but rather ‘something’. 8433465_2356.jpg source I had discussed some time ago how human to human bonding will gradually fade off due AI incorporation. In short, it was something that was already taking place, considering how every individual was sticking to his mobile phone before AI surfaced. The game has stepped up, more reliance is falling back to tech. Does this have a pending disadvantage? I read one saying that goes thus, ‘hard times creates strong men, strong men create good time, good times creates weak men and weak men create hard times’. You had to take a good look of it.

Can humans be fading of knowledge over time? It seems what is being fed currently are LLMs for better AI productivity. If the future stops thinking, what can be its implications? Are we looking at a future of smart people who are actually fools? I don't mean to be harsh here but what to point out here is the fact that if the brain becomes more and more unproductive overtime, it is likely to act outdated. I have to use myself here as an example when in the office. 6163216_2534.jpg source We are privileged to work with machines. For instance, in our laundry department, this makes work easy and efficient. The challenge I see here is that if we should have a light out or fault on a machine it will slow down the entire working system if not even pause it. We get lazy trying to wash one or two clothes out until the issue gets resolved. It seems machines have made us pets. One needs to be very clear here, I am not saying we should be siding with hardwork. No, this example just shows how our over reliance can turn to be a big lapse.

When last did you even risk adding 10 + 10, divide it by 5 and times it by three. You always feel as if you have committed a mathematical error and will have to recheck with your calculator especially when doing a professional transaction. No one wants to hear, I thought it was supposed to be this when you are trying to execute a trade. If we get retired from reasoning then why then are we humans?

To conclude, let me add, the Human-AI relationship will have some flaws and one of them will be individual unproductivity. With Apps becoming an all go to point in our daily activities we may be looking at a future where what is termed a smart generation are just overdependent humans. Can we in the end, create hard times for our race?
