Hello again, dear illustrious minority who come every week to read my analyses of Splinterlands. Today, once again, I had a bout of nostalgia during one of my battles and used one of those legendary cards that has been with me for a long time. And, of course, I took advantage of the circumstance to make and share this small and humble analysis of one of the first legendary cards that came to my roster. A battle fought this past weekend with the earth deck and an outstanding performance by the card I'm analysing this week. Make yourself comfortable and get ready to rediscover Djinn Biljka and all the magical power she brings to combat. Let's begin.

Hoy, de nuevo, he tenido un ataque de nostalgia en una de mis batallas y he utilizado una de esas cartas legendarias que me acompaña desde hace mucho tiempo. Y, claro, he aprovechado la circunstancia para hacer y enseñar este pequeño y humilde análisis sobre una de las primeras cartas legendarias que llegaron a mi roster. Una batalla disputada este pasado fin de semana con el mazo de tierra y una actuación destacada de la carta que analizo esta semana. Ponte cómodo y disponte a redescubrir a Djinn Biljka y todo el poder mágico que aporta al combate. Comenzamos.
One of the cards I like the most and use the most in both the earth deck and the water deck are their respective Djinns. Djinn Biljka in the green deck and Djinn Oshannus in the water deck. Although this surely comes as no surprise if you are a regular reader of my weekly analyses. The lore of this powerful card from the earth deck tells us the first part of the story of Dawn of the Djinns. The thousand-year war never ended. The Belludae, the ancient demons of war, were taken prisoner. An efreet managed to create a technique to enclose these Belludae in lamps, chests, and urns, which were then deposited, one after another, in a secure crypt buried underground. Everything seemed under control until a terrible cataclysm split the earth and scattered the containers holding the Belludae inside them to different places throughout different locations. A respite of almost 900 years had come to an end…
Una de las cartas que más me gustan y que más utilizo tanto en el mazo de tierra como en el mazo de agua son sus respectivos Djinn. Djinn Biljka en el mazo verde y Djinn Oshannus en el mazo acuático. Aunque esto seguro que no te sorprende si eres habitual de mis análisis semanales. El lore de este poderosa carta del mazo de tierra nos cuenta la primera parte de la historia del Dawn of the Djinns. La guerra de los mil años nunca llegó a terminar. Los Belludae, los antiguos demonios de la guerra, fueron hechos prisioneros. Un efreet consiguió crear la técnica para conseguir encerrar a estos Belludae en lámparas, cofres, urnas y se fueron depositando, uno tras otro, en una cripta segura enterrada bajo el suelo. Todo parecía controlado hasta que un terrible cataclismo dividió la tierra y esparció los contenedores que tenían a los Belludae en su interior por diferentes lugares a lo largo de diferentes localizaciones. Se había acabado un descanso de casi 900 años...
Speaking specifically about this week's card, Djinn Biljka, we have a legendary card from the earth deck. At its first level, it gives us one magic attack point, one speed point, and two vitality points in exchange for three summoning mana points. It also adds Camouflage as a special ability right from the start. Its four levels of evolution will improve its attack by two points, adding one at level 2 and another at level 4. Speed and vitality will remain unchanged. In addition, at levels 2 and 3, it will add an additional special ability. At level 2, it will gain Void, and at level 3, it will gain Weaken, with no additional abilities gained at its final upgrade. It may seem like a weak card, but the presence of Camouflage and its inability to be attacked make it an element to be reckoned with and can become a headache if its attack is boosted with, for example, Obsidian in the summoner slot.
Hablando ya en concreto de la carta analizada esta semana: Djinn Biljka, tenemos una carta legendaria del mazo de tierra. En su primer nivel nos aporta un punto de ataque mágico, un punto de velocidad y dos de vitalidad a cambio de tres puntos de maná de invocación. Además de sumar Camouflage como habilidad especial ya desde el primer momento. Sus cuatro niveles de evolución van a hacer que mejore su ataque en dos puntos sumando uno en el nivel 2 y otro en el 4. Velocidad y vitalidad permanecerán inalterables. Además, en los niveles 2 y 3 va a sumar una habilidad especial adicional. En el segundo nivel conseguirá Void y en el tercero Weaken no obteniendo ninguna adicional en su última mejora. Puede parecer una carta débil, pero la presencia de Camouflage y si efecto de no poder ser atacada la convierten en un elemento a tener en cuenta y que puede llegar a ser un dolor de cabeza si se potencia su ataque con, por ejemplo, Obsidian en el puesto de invocadora.
Let's now see Djinn Biljka in action in a real Ranking battle. It will be a battle with a limitation of 22 summoning mana points, ideal for the use of low-cost cards such as the card analysed this week. It will only appear as a Standard battle condition, so no modifications apply. Finally, the opponent will be @gworlon, who will also be playing with an earth deck and will use another legendary card that I love from this deck: Queen Mycelia, although her shield does not affect Djinn Biljka.
Vamos a ver ahora en acción a Djinn Biljka en un combate real de Ranking. Va a ser una batalla con una limitación a 22 puntos de maná de invocación, ideal para el uso de cartas de bajo coste como la carta analizada esta semana. Solo va a aparecer como condición de batalla Standard por lo que no se aplica ni una sola modificación. Por último, el rival va a ser @gworlon que también va a formar con mazo de tierra y utilizará otra legendaria que me encanta de este mazo: Queen Mycelia aunque su escudo no afecte a Djinn Biljka.
One more battle and one more victory that I'll show you after analysing a new card this week. Perhaps it's time to go back and analyse a defeat so you remember that I'm not, by any means, one of the best players in the game and I have my limitations... many, in fact. But that will be another week. In this one, you saw how Djinn Biljka, with the combination of Camouflage and a summoner that boosts magical attack, such as Obsidian, made her a real headache for my opponent. That ability means there is no way to eliminate Djinn Biljka before she takes the top spot in the line-up, so she has plenty of time to exploit her potential, especially if she has cards with high defensive power in front of her that can protect her for as long as possible. Una batalla más y una victoria que te enseño tras analizar una nueva carta esta semana. Quizá va siendo hora de volver a analizar una derrota para que recuerdes que no soy, ni de lejos, uno de los mejores jugadores del juego y tengo mis limitaciones... muchas de hecho. Pero eso será otra semana. En esta has visto como Djinn Biljka con la conjunción de Camouflage y un invocador que potencie el ataque mágico como es Obsidian la convierten en un auténtico dolor de cabeza para mi rival. Esa habilidad hace que no haya forma de eliminar a Djinn Biljka antes de que ocupe el primer puesto de la alineación por lo que tiene tiempo de sobra para explotar su potencial especialmente si tiene delante cartas con alto poder defensivo y puedan protegerla el mayor tiempo posible.
