Hello everyone!
I wrote this song yesterday, which was the coldest day here in Ohio, USA in a long, long time. It started with the line "there’s a little bit of warmth in the coldest night..."
And man life is hard sometimes, but really, really beautiful.
"Lyrics"
Somebody told me a long time ago Just cause it’s said, doesn’t mean that you know And just cause you feel it, it don’t make it so And somewhere the sun still shines
It’s a hard future and a hard past It’s hard to build up something that lasts When the night comes down it comes down fast But somewhere the sun still shines
Once or twice I pushed it away The good with the bad and it wasn’t ok Cause a little bit of both are here to stay And somewhere the sun still shines
It’s a hard future and a hard past It’s hard to build up something that lasts When the night comes down it comes down fast But somewhere the sun still shines
There’s a little bit of warmth in the coldest night A calm that settles in at the end of a fight There’s a sliver of truth that says it’s alright And somewhere the sun still shines
It’s a hard future and a hard past It’s hard to build up something that lasts When the night comes down it comes down fast But somewhere the sun still shines
I love when I’m happy because I’m so sad And the good’s even better when things go bad It’s okay what I have and never had And somewhere the sun still shines
It’s a hard future and a hard past It’s hard to build up something that lasts When the night comes down it comes down fast But somewhere the sun still shines
It’s a hard future and a hard past It’s hard to build up something that lasts When the night comes down it comes down fast But somewhere the sun still shines
Thanks again to @dsound for this platform!
