El viernes fue la introducción al nuevo año de HIVEED. Regresamos a nuestra querida institución "San José Obrero", donde desde 2022 venimos realizando un enorme trabajo de educación en Web3.

Como ya saben somos de la casa. Gracias siempre, infinitas a @requenayu que es la coordinadora académica y además hiver. Siempre está dispuesta a ayudarnos a que mejoremos el programa. En esta ocasión nos brindó la oportunidad de dictar tres charlas, para motivar a los estudiantes antes que comience la materia. Fue una especie de prueba para medir su interés.

Les mencioné el contenido del programa, que se encuentra totalmente vinculado a Hive. Comenzando por la marca personal, donde aprenderán a diseñar su personalidad, para logran las relaciones sanas que los harán felices. Seguida la parte financiera, donde aprenderán sobre activos y pasivos, ahorro, interés compuesto, criptomonedas. Luego vendría oratoria y después para finalizar con emprendimiento.

Además que muchos de los temas están relacionas directamente con Hive, otros lo hacen de forma indirecta; siempre se vincularán en la parte práctica, bien sea publicando contenido y manejando la billetera.

Al final les pregunté si todo lo que les dije fue de su interés y de forma unánime dijeron que sí. Visualizo grandes experiencias con este grupo, que es mucho más tranquilo y ordenado que el anterior. Estimo que veremos muchísimas más publicaciones y un involucramiento mayor con Hive.

Hoy lunes, fui al colegio Don Pedro. No pensaba ir hasta el próximo trimestre, sin embargo me llamaron pidíndome que comience ya. Este colegio está encantado con nuestro programa, que dimos durante 3 meses el año pasado y ahora lo quieren por todo el año.

Fuimos incluidos como materia fija con evaluación🎉

Hasta ahora HIVEED había sido una optativa y no tenía carga académica. No se evaluaba a los estudiantes, solo se les recompensaba con horas de labor social. Desde ahora en el Don Pedro, todo será evaluado, mayormente las publicaciones en Hive. Esto significa demasiado para mí 😍

En total serán, aproximadamente 150 estudiantes...

Friday marked the introduction to the new year for HIVEED. We returned to our beloved institution, "San José Obrero," where we've been doing tremendous Web3 education work since 2022.

As you know, we're local. A huge thank you always goes to @requenayu, the academic coordinator and also a Hiver student. She's always willing to help us improve the program. On this occasion, she gave us the opportunity to give three talks to motivate students before the class began. It was a kind of test to gauge their interest.

I mentioned the program's content, which is fully linked to Hive. It began with personal branding, where they'd learn how to design their personality to achieve healthy relationships that will make them happy. Next came the financial component, where they'd learn about assets and liabilities, savings, compound interest, and cryptocurrencies. Public speaking would follow, and then entrepreneurship would end.

While many of the topics are directly related to Hive, others are indirectly related. They will always be involved in the practical aspects, whether through publishing content or managing their wallets.

Finally, I asked them if everything I told them was of interest to them, and they unanimously agreed. I envision great experiences with this group, which is much calmer and more organized than the previous one. I expect we'll see many more publications and greater involvement with Hive.

Today, Monday, I went to Don Pedro School. I wasn't planning on going until next term, but they called me asking me to start right away. This school loves our program, which we offered for three months last year, and now they want it for the entire year.

We were included as a fixed, assessed subject.🎉

Until now, HIVEED had been an elective and had no academic load. Students weren't assessed; they were only rewarded with hours of community service. From now on, at Don Pedro School, everything will be assessed, especially Hive posts. This means a lot to me 😍

There will be approximately 150 students in total...
