Este fin de semana fue especialmente enriquecedor. Participamos en el Hackaton de Emprendimiento del IESA. Para quienes no lo saben, el IESA es el instituto de negocios más importante de Venezuela, con 60 años de fundado. De viernes a domingo realizó un Hackaton para 100 participantes en diferentes emprendimientos y nosotros @rutablockchain estuvimos presentes, construyendo sobre Hive.

Desde hace mucho tiempo, comencé a ver esta blockchain como tierra fértil para construir negocios. Hemos creado algunos de manera "artesanal", pero ahora decidimos profesionalizar un poco nuestro proyecto Rutablockchain, para traer más valor a Hive de forma comercial.

Esto fue una experiencia increíble, donde aterrizamos muchas cosas. Lo principal es la falta de estructura que tenemos. Venimos trabajando por 8 años a lo Hippie 🤣. Aunque esto me gusta personalmente y me alejo de la burocracia, también reconozco que puede aprender herramientas para mejorar lo que hacemos.

Uno de los retos principales, es la baja incorporación hacia Hive, aunque la mayoría queda enamorada de la idea, no concretan iniciando. También está la alta deserción, principalmente por bajas recompensas. Pero lo que más queremos trabajar es la falta de inversores.

Después de estos tres días, decidimos registrarnos en el programa de Emprende Tech que dura tres meses. Ahí desarrollaremos un producto basado en Hive, que todavía no decidimos cuál. Ya les estaremos contando.

También vimos a @cabetosag mostrando su proyecto y además hicimos unas alianzas. Aunque no nos fue muy bien en la entrega final, nos encantó todo. La verdad nos dio mucha risa que no tenemos nada escrito sobre Rutablockchain y vimos lo difícil que es explicar lo que hacemos, sobretodo en menos de 3 minutos como nos tocó hacerlo.

Ahora vamos a trabajar para tener un buen pitch de 1 minuto, donde podamos causar impacto y mucha curiosidad...

This weekend was particularly enriching. We participated in the IESA Entrepreneurship Hackathon. This was an incredible experience, where we accomplished many things. The main thing is the lack of structure we have. We have been working for 8 years in a hippie style. Although I personally like this and it keeps me away from bureaucracy, I also recognize that we can learn tools to improve what we do.

One of the main challenges is the low uptake of Hive. Although most people fall in love with the idea, they don't actually get started. There is also a high dropout rate, mainly due to low rewards. But what we want to work on most is the lack of investors.

After these three days, we decided to register for the Emprende Tech program, which lasts three months. There, we will develop a product based on Hive, although we haven't decided what it will be yet. We'll keep you posted.

We also saw @cabetosag presenting his project and made some partnerships. Although we didn't do very well in the final presentation, we loved everything. The truth is, we laughed a lot because we don't have anything written about Rutablockchain, and we saw how difficult it is to explain what we do, especially in less than three minutes, which is how long we had to do it.

Now we're going to work on a good one-minute pitch, where we can make an impact and spark a lot of curiosity...
