Hi friends, it's been a while since I've been here, but today I decided to write again. This time, I want to talk about my cat Tammy, who I have talked about before in some of my posts.

Tammy has been with me for 3 years and I remember perfectly the day I adopted her. She was only 2 months old and now time has passed and she is so big. From the first day I had her, I realized how amazing she was for pictures. She always stays in the same spot when she looks at the camera, and has always loved posing for pictures, even in unexpected places.

One of these photos was a few days ago, when my brother was washing his bike in the afternoon, outside the house. She just saw and climbed up on one of the walls of the patio of the house, and stood looking at him while he was washing his bike. That day, the afternoon was beautiful and the sky was clear. I took advantage of the moment and approached her to take pictures. She was very calm, looking at the camera, and it was very nice.

Other pictures are of her necklace, given to her by one of my co-workers. She fell in love with Tammy from the first day she met her. I bought her a necklace in the shape of a flower, very cute, but I only put it on her on special occasions, since it is a little big and I don't want it to bother her when she jumps or runs.

Tammy also has piggy ears. She doesn't like me to put them on her, only for special occasions, and I don't leave them on her for long. She is very cute when she lets me take pictures of her with the accessories I put on her. In truth, she is very calm and tender, although sometimes she makes faces that make you think otherwise. She is really funny.

It feels nice to be able to see her happy. We used to live in an apartment and Tammy would not go out, as it was a residential area and I was afraid to let her out. When I moved in with my brother, we found a house with a big yard full of trees and grass. I feel she liked the change too much. It is a safe, enclosed place where she can go outside and only walks inside the house area. She stopped using the sandbox because she taught herself to do it outside in the dirt.

Since I have had Tammy, I have known infinite love and she has brought me so much peace in the midst of so many things. Just look at her innocent eyes and how lucky I was to adopt her. I know how lucky I am to have her with me is priceless, and I look forward to spending many more years with her.

I have had pets before, but she is the first one with whom I feel such a strong connection. It feels so nice to be able to experience these feelings. Tammy is spayed, as I didn't want her to have kittens for the reason of not finding them a good home and falling into the hands of people who are not fit to have them. I also thought of all the cats that are in a situation of abandonment. To be able to promote the adoption would be very incredible, since we would be helping to give a better life to all those pets that are in the street and suffer mistreatment and are exposed to constant dangers.
