@dannewton just finished a 17.03km run, that lasted for 101 minutes.
This run helped dannewton burn 1748.0 calories.
Description from Strava: Its Sunday afternoon, and I've finally found time for the weekend long run. I had hoped to get down to do a parkrun 'sandwich', on Saturday morning, but I was distracted counting Moths, and then I had various chores to catch up on in the afternoon.
I was going to head out for the run this morning, but the weather was atrocious, and the bed was more appealing. Finally this afternoon, the sun appeared, and i finally had no more excuses.
Todays run was an easy and steady 10 miles, as final preparation for my 1/2 Marathon race next Sunday (looking forward to it!). Usually I would be in the middle of a taper for the event, but as my prior training as been so poor, and my aim for the race is just to get round and enjoy it, so I've decided just to treat this as a normal training week.
to be fair, currently I feel really good, so there's no reason to complicate it just for the sake of it!
Long run done, and some stretching of afterwards, I can now get on with the rest of the day. I've got ironing to do, some more of my course, and then I can spend the evening on Teams catching up with Dawn

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)
