@dannewton just finished a 11.73km run, that lasted for 71 minutes.
This run helped dannewton burn 944.0 calories.
Description from Strava: Another opportunity to test some different routes running home. I was aiming for somewhere around 12km, and while working through the strava route planner yesterday, I thought I had found a route for 12.5km. Perfect!
This was the route I ran home tonight, and as you can see in the route map above, heading out of work I quickly turn left to head towards town, and then take a right to head along Wragby road. This takes me out of town towards the bypass, and then it is a simple enough route (if slightly boring) to all the way along the bypass to eventually arrive home.
The actual distance worked out at 11.7km, so not the 12.5km route I had planned. 11.7km is still fine for the run, but just a little put off that the route map wasn't that accurate in the end.
It was also the first time I had needed the head torch, which I had in my pocket ready for when it got dark. I was putting it off to see how long I could last, but eventually gave in just after I passed by the roundabout near Washingborough.
Tomorrow will be a shorter 6km to round off the working week, and then on Saturday it will be time for the long run. I plan to do another parkrun, this time it might be the one at the top of town at Yarborough Leisure Centre.... and this time I will aim to arrive on time (instead of the mishap last weekend!)

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)
