In the charming city, Demre, among the breathtaking natural scenery, there are fascinating tombs that testify to the ancient history of the place. I have never seen such amazing creations of people in my life! These tombs stick out of the rock, in the most unexpected places. It could just be in the middle of a cliff 100 meters above the ground! And of course, how could we not go to see this. And also shoot amazing footage for you.

These tombs, made in the style of Greek architecture, impress with their details and decorations. The tombs we visited were very similar to each other, but each of them differed in that each of them had a story about the death of different people.

There also a Lycian Theater and the ruins of the city, right next to the rock tombs, are additional archaeological sites to explore. These structures reflect the wealth and cultural heritage of Lycia, an ancient civilization that existed in the region for tens of centuries.

The Lycian Theater is an impressive, simply incredibly large architectural structure. The theater had a large number of seats that were arranged in a semicircle, allowing the audience to enjoy the spectacle. Such a composition of chairs is still used today! Very convenient for sure. The theater itself has been perfectly preserved to this day and impresses with its grandeur and perfectly reflects what the theaters of the past looked like.

A ruined city is located next to the theater. This city, as I read, had almost 60,000 inhabitants and was an important commercial, cultural and religious center. Now, as I have seen, a lot of the city has been destroyed. The city consists of the ruins of various buildings and structures, including the amphitheater (which I wrote about), temples, I did not consider much.
