Monochrome London.

The gorgeous naval hosiptal in Greenwhich.

Soo, I was in London a few weeks ago for a very special night at the National Maritime Museum, however I didn't take my camera only my phone, but I do like the shots I got, although I do have some plans to go back and take my camera for some gorgeous low light shots of Greenwhich and the city lights, yes, I know this has already been done, no doubt thousands of times, but I want to get my own version.

A view of the city from Greenwich.

As I was looking through my shots, I thought I would try and make them a bit different, I've not done any monochrome stuff for a while, but I do think it really works with the buildings, when this shot was taken, the light was constantly changing and it was some of the strongest winds we'd had for quite a while, the sort that takes your breath when it gusts.

You may have seen this on films.

Entrance to the tunnel under the river Thames to the Isle Of Dogs.

After a an afternoon in Greenwhich, we headed into London on the following day, I'll post these shots in another post as there are quite a few images of the Tower Of London and Tower Bridge, we did have a fantastic time.

I loved it around Greenwich too, the park is stunning, we went inside the observatory and in Flamsteed house, one of the rooms I'd been wanting to see was the Octagon room, this was designed by Sir Christopher Wren, the same person behind St Pauls Cathedral.

Sadly we couldn't go into the planetarium due to high winds.

Greenwich, we shall return!

I really hope you have enjoyed this post and have seen parts of London/Greenwich in a different perspective.

Thanks for reading.
