I am currently enjoying my annual holiday down in Norfolk, one of my favourite counties in the UK, and very unique.
As i type this the weather has taken a turn though and it’s absolutely banging it down with the rain.
I am however staying in a caravan and with the sound of the rain on the caravan roof, it's very relaxing indeed.
I have to admit, I just love getting out on the beach, just listening to the sound of the sea and the wildlife, so peaceful.
You don't know what you will see on the coastline of Norfolk, Massive double rainbows, and even seals bobbing in and out of the water, I so love it down here, I wish I could live here. I think it's a place I'd love to retire to.
The colours of the sky are wonderful, I am back home now but I am missing my holiday, I did want to do some milky way photography but with the moon being so bright, this kind of put a stop to that, but I did get some gorgeous night photography too...
It was great walking on the dunes at night, all the shots were lit with moonlight.
I was so happy with the above shot, the moon was just rising, but as it was I managed to get the milkyway, although a bit faint, but there was also a thunderstom in which I caught the ligtning, as you can see one of the clouds are illuminated and there's fork lighting near the moon. The moon was an orange/red due to being very low on the horizon.
I really hope you've enjoyed these shots, I'm not too well today, hence not much writing, but thought I'd need to post something as I haven't posted anything in a while, this will be changing for the foreseeable future.
Shot using a Sony A7iii and a Apple iPhone 14 pro.
All the best :-)
