Well it sort of looks like a Castle doesn’t it? Actually this is not Castle Mountain (which is located about 45 away from here), this is officially called “Dolomite Peak”. Apparently this mountain was named after another mountain somewhere in Italy called the Dolomites. As I was doing research on the “Italian Dolomites”, the photos are really incredibly gorgeous actually. Do check it out. Now I want to travel to Italy to see them! I wonder what the hiking is like on that boot. For now I’ll stick with the magnificent Canadian Rockies, as they are much closer than the Italian ones.
