First full day on Vancouver island! Today’s plan was to visit a place called “Cathedral Grove”. Located inside MacMillan Provincial park (about an hours drive from where we were staying). So we take off to find this place, and of course I don’t need to use navigation tools right? The hour drive turned into closer to an hour and a half lol. First of all the parking situation was ridiculous, only a very limited amount of spaces available beside a busy highway. Luckily we got a spot. There is a nice boardwalk that takes you through this amazing grove, many trees here are gigantic and over 800 years old! To be continued tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by.
