Here is a glimpse of what it felt like to wander around the grove via this beautiful boardwalk. I am big fan of well made boardwalks. It does feel very satisfying to walk around; even adding a hint of excitement to the experience! The ratio of living trees to downed tree was approximately 10:1. Bound to be some dead ones, as this forest holds some seriously old trees. Some of them massive downed tree roots, could be used as makeshift homes for any number of different critters.
