One of the highlights of our hike around this beautiful area were these towering cliffs; overlooking the Kootenay river. Carefully chiseled over years from water erosion — gorgeous in appearance. Never seen any cliffs as great as these. Then we have the turquoise coloured river flowing along side, and downward toward the Columbia river.
