The simple beauty of a log in the water, stuck amongst the rocks, trying to break free, and eventually will. Photos taken near the Nipika hiking trails, at the Cross river. A mighty little river which flows toward the Kootenay river. Such a fun afternoon it was, and the temperature was nearly perfect too! I love those kind of days.
