Addressing a Global Concern

 The world we live in is faced with many issues, some of which are a global concern. These issues are the problems or phenomena that present dangers to humans and the ecosystem. Which of course is you and me, as well as the animals and plants. The presence of these issues is a threat and the occurrence is abhorrent. It's also necessary to mention that as much as these global issues present a devastating effect on humans, we have been doing a huge job in giving rise to them, causing them to continually remain a concern to us. Some of our actions as humans affect the ecosystem, which in turn affects us. Depending on the nature of the issue or problem. A good number of these global issues exist. This goes on to highlight how much we've contributed to bringing them about and also empowering them. As the years go by, they become more and more of a menace and threat to our world and to ourselves. These global concerns have heightened over time, and the devastating effects are becoming clearer now.  Some of these are poverty, health, environmental degradation, biodiversity loss, water security, wars and conflicts, food security, migration, human rights violations and climate change, to name but a few. These issues are in the sense of environmental concerns, socioeconomic concerns and political and human rights concerns. Understanding the implications of these global problems will mean more for preventive actions. If it were to be in my place, perhaps as a superhero who can fix issues singlehandedly, I would see to it that all of these issues are eradicated, giving no chance to any to affect lives or the ecosystem. But I'm not a superhero, nevertheless, I can do a little in my own way to see that these issues are addressed. Say I have the chance to eliminate one of these global issues－though I'll be glad if I could erase them all－the answer would revolve around climate change and environmental balance. The atmosphere and the ecosystem are daily wrecked by the actions of humans, knowingly or ignorantly. And it just keeps getting worse as time goes by.  If the climate is eventually wrecked, contaminating and polluting the atmosphere and our ecosystem, there won't be much of a place to dwell in. So, I guess. Hence, there's a need to address this global issue of climate change which is constantly increasing in its threat level. It might not be evident enough to many, but it remains a major issue. We live in a competitive world, and one driven by the desire to make it and grow in our endeavours, caring less about what some of our actions mean to our world, the ecosystem or our fellow humans. The growing nature of our technologically advanced and heavily industrialised world today has consistently left a mark on our ecosystem, engineering and empowering the problem of climate change. Orientation and awareness will go a long way to help. Many tend to be ignorant of the little things they do that influence and promote climate change. Exposure to the reality of these “harmless” actions will help in a way. Sustainability will play a great role as well. Since some of the causes of these climate actions are a result of some of our power generation and manufacturing actions, sustainability in terms of clean energy, green architecture and the like will serve.
