Humans are social beings. By implication, that means we need each other. No doubt about that. We need someone to talk to, share ideas with, someone to relate with. It's the nature of the human species, likewise other social animals. Even the people who say they are introverted and speak or associate less seem to have someone they relate to quite well.

This nature can't really be changed. I guess that is why we have friends, contact lists on our phones, why we visit each other and engage in several connecting activities. Why? Because we really need that connection to our fellow humans. In life endeavours, we are beings who need each other; for help or encouragement.
> But wait for a moment, you just realised that the earth is about to come to an end and there are no more human being you see around you and you're the only human being on the earth which left. You'll try to find your fellow human but you can't find them out.
As much as we need our fellow humans, what if the above becomes the case? Well, on my part, there could be a lot to consider on this. First, let's not really go there, but if such a thing happens, one thing could come to mind. If the rapture had happened and I'm left behind. That would be terrifying, but no, it won't happen like that. Haha.
That could be the first thought perhaps. After going round and not finding a single human life and no form of some extraordinary divine stuff happening, my mind could go back to a series I once came across. I think the title goes like the prompt “The Last Man on Earth.” I saw some things from the movie which could give an insight into what I could end up doing.

Not just like that though. I will first try to find my family, friends, or anyone at all. If no one could be found, I would settle then for the life of a loner. That was what the “last man” in the series did. I could certainly do the same. It would be hard to settle in such a situation, but what choice could I have?
I would try to locate a house, a befitting one. Live in it and“ enjoy” the place. I believe that my quest to find the possibility of another human life won't stop. Maybe till after some years. It could take me to travel to cities, countries, continents, even though I don't know how to control an aeroplane. I could try my best at least.
The experience won't be a funny one for sure. Through this write-up, I have come to realise that we are somewhat the security for ourselves as humans by our presence. When we are alone in danger or silence it is devastating. Having another by our side or with us could be comforting and a security as well.

Yes, I won't let the reality end like that. I would write it in a book. Hopefully, one day humans will arise or find my place after I am gone and know what happened. Or maybe another world altogether will find it and learn of this.
In any case, the story should be told and let whoever can find it know of this.
I will try to do much with those times. Read books, explore the world like I have never done before, be free with myself and enjoy the resources I can find. The funny thing is that in such a time, one could find all they desired for in life but it won't hold any value at that point. This goes to tell that the real value and worth of the things we desire is embedded in us humans-our presence.
