When it comes to our existence in this space, time is the metric, and so it's of immense value to the life of any human. Our existence here is defined by the scales of time, it's how we know how much time we've had or spent. Beyond the quantitative value of time, the qualitative value could mean more to a person. In fact, it's based on the quality of one's time that the quantity is valued.
Time is arguably what manages and directs our affairs in life. When nighttime comes, we know we need to rest from the day's work. As such, we see people hurrying to get home while the sun is setting. When it rises, we know it's time to go out there and do the needful, depending on our endeavours. The point is, time has a way of dictating our engagements in life.

Since it's evident that time is of such value and power, the ability to manage it is one of the greatest life hacks I consider that everyone needs to get. “Time waits for no one” it's said. Rightly so. It won't wait for us no matter what, the best we can do is to learn how to get the best out of it and with it.
With the current nature of life's engagements, I find myself sometimes lamenting how time isn't just enough. There are certainly days it feels like that; when one is overwhelmed with activities that some more hours could be helpful. I remember writing something in this sense some time back, and there were some things I shared.
Time is constant. Twenty-four hours is twenty-four hours. No more, no less, beyond our desires for extra time at times. I considered then that the best we can gain with time is how we can successfully manage it, and perhaps not seek more. If we don't learn the management of time, no matter how much we have, it will still be wasted. Yes, my life taught me that too.

Making peace with the fact that twenty-four hours is all I'll have for a day, managing it became a necessity. I've not really been good at this, but I've done my best in some ways. The first necessary step for me is the character of discipline. No matter how much we want to do with time; set up plans, alarms, schedules and all, if discipline is not there it's a failed attempt, presumably. Discipline is what makes our plans fruitful and our time worthwhile.
Of course, having the character of discipline without necessary actions set in place towards the utilisation of time well won't take a person anywhere with time. In some cases, I try to set plans, make schedules, and set alarms to ensure there's a guide towards the use of my time. Funny enough, I sometimes make a rough schedule for my posts here on Hive.

Setting boundaries is a measure that has helped me manage time. In this time of my life, I'm busy, as supposed. So, having a boundary is necessary. This helps me to be focused on my tasks to avoid abandoning them and external distractions. There are times when friends would want to disrupt one's time for things that don't really carry weight. In such a sense, the boundaries set could play out effectively.
Time will always be of utmost value and will remain so. The difference most times between the great and those not is how well time was managed. If indeed we all have an equal amount of time, how come some could attain a certain height in life while others couldn't? Time is daily dished out to everyone equally, how it's managed is what matters.
