Of course this is not the raccoon that I met on my walk, as the raccoon I met look at me and ran. I guess raccoons like to stay away from humans.

One thing about this raccoon was that it was big, like if someone was hunting raccoons, this one had a lot of meat on him.

As for me, I don't eat raccoons, as I wouldn't want to kill and clean it. They seem to move fast, but I guess I could shoot an arrow at it, if I was really hungry.

But I have freezers with chicken leg quarters and hamburgar patties, so why would I need to eat a racoon?

No, just let the raccoon go on his way.

Another time early in the morning, when I say early in the morning, I mean before you can see the sun, but there is morning light, I saw a coyote. I wonder if coyotes eat raccoons. I just looked it up, coyotes can eat raccoons, but smaller ones.

The one that I seen, that big raccoon, might be too big for a coyote, you see the old the raccoon, would more likely fight back and maybe too much for a coyote.

Of course every now and then I might see a dead raccoon on the side of the road. Well, most likely it got hit by a car.

So then I would know if raccoon are in the area by the road kill that was on the side of the road.

I was thinking if raccoons eat cats. I have a pet cat. It mentions that raccoons can eat cats, but it they did it would be the smaller kittens, they usually don't come after adult cats.

I know that raccoons go after the cat food left outside. I have seen a Youtube video where a raccoon was looking at a cat and walked up and stole 2 handfulls of cat food right in front of that cat and the cat just looked at it.

I have read that raccoons not only eat meat, but also some fruits and veggies that might be growing outside. So if you were missing some tomatoes on your tomato plant, it might have been a raccoon.

Well, anyway I did get to see a really big raccoon in the early morning before the sun came out.

Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, with Jesus speaking, I am the vine, ye the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:5.
