As I write, there is a mention of lots of earthquakes in California. I didn't feel an earthquake, but I have been expecting an earthquake.
As I write, I am 66 years old, and I do remember the 1989 California earthquakes. Some freeways fell on cars underneath and of course a lot of people died.
So that would bring me to ask, What if? What if the gas stations stop selling gas? I do have cars parked next to my house, If I need gas, and no one is selling, I can siphon gas from one car and put it into another car, or just drive the car with the most gas. Also in an earthquake situation maybe best to just stay home, unless called elsewhere.
What if the stores stop selling food? Well, I could survive for a bit as I do have some canned food. Also with canned food you can just eat the food right out of the can.
Of course if the electricity and gas goes out, I would try to eat the stuff in the freezers first. If the freezers are full the food might last longer if you keep the food all packed together.
And how would you cook? I can take an empty tuna can and fill it with wax and add cardboard, this way I can make the tuna can into a burner and I can put some bricks around the lit tuna can and lay a pot on top of the bricks and cook that way.
And what about water? If you turn on the faucet and no water comes out, which can happen in an earthquake, it goes back if you stored water or not.
I do have about four barrels of water in my garage and I also have bottled water, cases of it in barrels. I like to put the cases of water in a barrel as I used to just store cases of water in my living room, but unknown to me, rats would bite into them and drink that way. When I put my cases of bottled water into a metal barrel, that water is in a metal barrel that is rat proof.
So I just seen a video on Youtube that there were over a 100 earthquakes in California, yesterday, Friday, the 15th of August.
I am glad to say, that my city didn't get affected, well, I least I don't think it got affected. Praise the Lord, I didn't have to do any of the techniques I mentioned in this blog.
Of course it is good to praise the Lord, in the good times and in the bad times.
Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? Job 1:8.
