Over the weekend, I took the opportunity to explore my city a little and stop by the café I always visit to buy some bread for home. I was pleasantly surprised by how they decorated it for Halloween, and what impressed me most was the number of people there enjoying all the services the place has to offer, as well as taking advantage of the Halloween specials. The place was full of cobwebs, pumpkin decorations, ghosts, and lots of spiders in different parts of the café, creating a great effect. There were also lights of different colors to give the café a more terrifying touch. It really looked great, and this is the first time I've visited this place on Halloween, as it's practically new, and I'm sure many people got a big scare.

It was crowded with people, since everything is much cheaper when you place bids, and the good thing was that there were several tables where you could sit and appreciate all the decorations. Since I was with my mom at the time, I bought her a black coffee, since if I bought one, I got another one free, so it worked out perfectly for the two of us. A medium black coffee, which was just right, with a good amount of sugar. The coffee they sell in that café is really good quality, and even more so with that Halloween touch they added to the whole atmosphere. A coffee was perfect for the occasion, and we stayed there for a while enjoying that great moment with my mother, chatting and taking a couple of photos for the memory, since we have to wait until next year for them to decorate for Halloween again.

We also ordered a slice of cake for the two of us, as it was a good size and my mom doesn't eat much dessert, so that was enough and we got to enjoy the combination of flavors it had. First of all, it was decorated with lots of colors and you could see that each layer was a different color. The cake was a marquesa, which is a chocolate cake with cookies, assembled layer by layer. It's a very common dessert in my city, and everyone makes it their own way. So every piece of that cake was just right, and when you combine it with coffee, it's the best thing ever. It had been a while since I'd had a cake like that, so I enjoyed it to the fullest, even with its slightly terrifying touch.

It was the best outing I had this weekend, where I ended up buying bread for the house, but at the same time I was able to enjoy a good cup of coffee, which I love so much. Being with our mothers is the best thing there is, since they have given us everything, and a good black coffee for moments like that will always be appreciated. The surprise of everything being decorated for Halloween also gave it a special and unique touch, since it's not every day that it's decorated that way. That's why it was all worth it, and I hope you enjoyed Halloween and created great moments and memories this year during the season of terror.
