Seriously I use to watch movies and I love watching it with people not alone or else sometimes I was the only one at home, then I can watch alone.
And whats funny thing about me is that anytime I watch Indian movie, I always get curious about the language they are speaking like I should learn how to speak ASAP. At first, it sound so fast to my ear, like music. I will just be sitting down and smiling because the sound of the words alone is enough to make me laugh, even the accent of English speaking is very funny Not because it is bad o, but because it is sweet and strange to my ear.
I remember the time when I consistent on Indian movie I started watching then in my secondary school. They were shouting something like “Nahe! Nahe!” and I was like, what is this nahe again? Later I hear another one “Namaste,” which I later found out mean greeting. Then “Kia huwa,” I hear it often when somebody is asking question. I don’t even know if I dey pronounce it well, but anytime I repeat it to my friends we go just laugh together.
Due to my curiosity and passion for their language small words whenever I watch. Sometimes, when I am alone, I will be forming fake Indian accent and acting like actor. I even disturb my siblings by shouting “Naheee!” whenever they collect my food. The way they look at me and laugh make it more funny.
Another thing I notice is that Indian language sound very emotional. Even when they are saying normal talk, it sound like serious argument. So in my head I just be thinking they are quarreling, but later I find out it is just like simple conversation That also make me laugh more.
Up to this dates I still find friends who are always interested in watching the me , because it always be fun. Though, the dance and drama, but also the sweet sound of the words. Truly, Indian language make me laugh and also give me joy.
