There are so many beautiful places and beautiful people in the world which am yet to see.
Have you ever closed your eyes and imagined waking up in a completely different part of the world? The sound of new languages around you, the smell of different food, and the feeling of walking through streets you’ve never seen before it’s a beautiful thought I always want to experience.
If I could live anywhere in the world for one year, I think I would choose South Korea. Not just because of the popular K-drama scenes or K-pop culture, but because I want to experience the blend of tradition and modern life that Korea offers. I imagine myself waking up in a small apartment in Seoul, grabbing a cup of hot coffee from a corner café, and watching the city slowly wake up.
But more than the city life, I would love to travel to the countryside. I’ve heard stories about peaceful villages surrounded by green mountains and rice fields. I would love to meet farmers, learn about their way of life, and even try planting or harvesting with them. Living like a local not just a tourist would be my goal to have a beautiful experience of what it tastes or feels like.
Why only one year? Because a year is long enough to see the seasons change, experience festivals, and make real friendships. It’s enough time to understand not just the beauty, but also the challenges of life in that place.
I believe living somewhere new for a year changes a person deeply. You start to see the world from another point of view. You learn to adapt, to respect other ways of life, and to appreciate your own home even more.
Now I’m curious if you had this chance, where would you go? Would it be a busy, exciting city like New York or Tokyo? Or maybe a quiet, relaxing place like a small coastal town? And why would you choose it?
Share your dream location in the comments. Who knows? Maybe one day we’ll meet in one of these places we dream about.
