Greetings, human gamers, how are you doing...
This wonderful project called MOON KARTS has already been on Hive for a couple of months. This project comes from our friends at @arcadecolony, and it’s a racing game that I once called the Mario Kart of Hive. But months went by and the game hadn’t brought anything new, until this week. Even though it’s a small change, I feel it encourages those of us who invested in this project to keep playing a little or even want to come back and run a few races.
So, in this post you’ll find what’s new in the project and some thoughts that might be useful for the team behind the game, who sometimes feel like they’re very few, kind of like the ones making Hollow Knight: Silksong.
WHAT’S NEW?
Well, it’s as simple as the implementation of bots for races. That means we no longer have to wait up to 7 minutes to find an opponent; instead, in just 30 or 40 seconds we’ll find 2 rivals (usually bots) to play against.

I should clarify that sometimes there are real players too, but I feel that many of them might be using bots on their accounts. I’ve raced against them, and it’s obvious in the curves how poorly they handle them they only win because their cars are faster, not because of skill.
🔹THE FARMING OF THE COLONY TOKEN It’s no secret that this token is earned on the leaderboard each season, but I don’t see any interesting use for it other than selling it on Hive Engine. This is bad because, with the implementation of bots, many users will play the game and sell the token, which will drive its price even lower.
I feel they should give the token more use cases so it has real value. For example: creating a skin shop, or some kind of gambling game where you bet your Colony tokens with a chance to win something. Also, maybe a Colony pass (like a battle pass) that can be purchased with the token.
Here’s an example of my current leaderboard standing and what I would generate in Hive if I ended the season in that position:
From the heart, I hope this game gets more support and that the developers listen to the users. Something that gives me hope is that at least they’ve added something new, which is a small light that they’ll keep working on the project. Moon Karts is a game with huge potential, and I want to see it in the future as one of the best Hive games, worthy of carrying the flag at live events where the potential of this blockchain and what it’s building can be showcased.

Saludos humanos gamers como están... Este maravilloso proyecto llamado **MOON KARTS** ya lleva un par de meses en hive, dicho proyecto es de los amigos de @arcadecolony y es un juego de carreras que yo en su momento llame el mario kart de hive. Pero los meses han pasado y el juego no había traído nada nuevo, hasta esta semana que aunque es un cambio pequeño siento que invita a los que invertimos en este proyecto a continuar jugando aunque sea un poco o queramos volver a jugar unas carreras. Así que este post te encontraras lo que llego **nuevo** al proyecto y algunos pensamientos que le podrían servir al equipo detrás del juego que a veces pienso que son muy pocos tales como los que hicieron el hollow knig silk song. **QUE ES LO NUEVO ?** Bueno esta tan sencillo como que han implementando **bots** para las carreras, es decir ahora no tenemos que esperas hasta 7 minutos para encontrar rival, sino que en tan solo 30 o 40 segundos encontraremos 2 rivales ( generalmente son bots ) con el que podremos jugar las partidas. Aquí algunas capturas de lo facil que es encontrar rival y como voy en la tabla de clasificación: Aclaro que en ocasiones también hay rivales pero siento que muchos de ellos podrían usar bots para sus cuentas ya que he competido con ellos y en las curvas se nota lo mal que las trazan y solo ganan por que sus coches son mas rápidos mas no por habilidad. **EL FARMEO DEL TOKEN COLONY** Para nadie es un secreto que dicho token se gana en la tabla de clasificación cada temporada y no le veo un uso interesante que venderlo en hive engine; esto es malo ya que al implementar los bots muchos usuarios jugaran el juego y venderán el token lo que traerá el token aun a un precio mas bajo. Yo siento que deberían darle mas usos al token para que este tuviese valor como crear una tienda de skin, o algún juego de azar donde apuestes tu **colony** y tengan las probabilidad de ganar algo. También no se porque un pase colony ( tipo pase de batalla ) que se pague con dicho token. Aquí un ejemplo de mi tabla actual de clasificación y lo que generaría en **hive** si quedara al final de la temporada: De corazón espero que este juego le den mas soporte y escuchen a los usuarios, algo que me da esperanza es que al menos metieron algo nuevo y eso da una pequeña luz de que seguirán trabajando en el proyecto. **Moon karts es un juego con un potencial enorme** y quiero verlo a futuro como uno de los mejores juegos de hive y digno de llevar la bandera a algunos eventos en vivo donde se vea el uso y le potencial de esta blockchain y lo que esta construyendo.
