Today I am with you again to show you my art, I love every week to go through this wonderful world of magic, color, and lots of Splinterlands characters to look for new elements or characters to build different crafts such as jewelry, accessories, 3D figures and other things that motivate me, inspire me and activate my creativity and thus be able to create for you.

Today I bring you a new piece of art. I wanted to make a pair of dangling earrings inspired by elements from the card, “Buttercup Mauler”, using the quilling technique.

Hola a mis queridos Hivers y a la querida comunidad de artistas #Jewelry, como siempre muy complacida y emocionada de encontrarme por acá nuevamente, mostrándole mi trabajo hecho con mucho amor y especialmente para ustedes.

Un saludo para la comunidad de Splinterlands, y todos los que hacen vida por allí, estoy por acá para unirme al Splinterlands Art Contest.

Hoy estoy con ustedes nuevamente para mostrarles mi arte, me encanta semana a semana pasar por ese maravilloso mundo de magia, color, y muchísimos personajes de Splinterlands para buscar nuevos elementos o personajes para construir diversas manualidades bien sean bisutería, accesorios, figuras en 3D entre otras cosas que me motiven, inspiren y activen mi creatividad y de esa manera poder crear para ustedes.

Para hoy les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, quise realizar un par de zarcillos colgantes inspirados en elementos de la carta, "Buttercup Mauler" en la técnica de quilling.

Esperando les guste mi trabajo, sin más preámbulos, les dejo mi proceso creativo.

Comencemos:😃

• Start by taking a 4mm wide quilling strip. Using the quilling needle, roll up the entire strip until you reach the end. Remove it from the needle, loosen it slightly until you achieve the desired size, and seal it with extra-strong white glue to form an open circle. To make the pair of earrings, i.e., the two flowers, you will need 12 circles of the same size.
• Once the circles are ready, we will seal them in a diamond shape, separate them into two groups of 6, and begin to join them with extra-strong white glue to form a flower with 6 petals.

• Comenzamos tomando cinta para quilling de 4mm de ancho, con la aguja para quilling vamos a enrollar toda la cinta hasta llegar al final de la misma, sacamos de la aguja, soltamos un poco hasta conseguir el tamaño deseado, sellamos con pega blanca extra fuerte, obtendremos un círculo abierto. Para realizar el par de aretes es decir las dos flores, necesitaremos 12 circulos del mismo tamaño.
• Listos los círculos sellaremos en forma de diamantes, separamos en dos grupos de 6, vamos a comenzar a unir con pega blanca extra fuerte hasta formar una flor de 6 pétalos.

• Apply a detail of yellow water-based paint to the center of each petal.
• Use pearl-colored metallic paint to add several details to each flower petal.
• Take some beige jewelry beads and place them in the center of each flower to decorate, placing about 7 beads on each one.
• To protect the earrings, apply several layers of extra-strong white glue, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. This will also give them greater strength and plasticity.
• To finish the earrings, I attached the respective jewelry rings and, finally, the bases for the dangling earrings, to which I added an orange wooden bead and a beige bead to make the piece more eye-catching.

And so we have finished this pair of dangling earrings that I made, inspired by elements of the character from the card “Buttercup Mauler”.

• Aplicaremos en el centro de cada pétalo un detalle con pintura al agua color amarillo.
• Con pintura metalizada color perlada realizaremos varias detalles en cada pétalo de las flores.
• Tomé algunas cuentas de bisutería de color beige y coloque para decorar en el centro de cada flor, coloqué alrededor de 7 cuentas en cada una.
• Para proteger los aretes apliqué algunas capaz de pega blanca extra fuerte, dejando secar entre una capa y otra, esto también para darles mayor firmeza y plasticidad.
• Para terminar de formar los zarcillos coloque su respectiva argolla de bisutería, y por último las bases para zarcillos colgantes a las cuales les coloque una perla de madera color naranja y una cuenta beige, para darle mayor vistosidad al trabajo.

• De esta manera tenemos listo este par de zarcillos colgantes que elabore, inspirado en elementos del personaje de la carta "Buttercup Mauler".
