Today I wanted to bring you a new figure based on the construction video game Minecraft. Last week I made one of the cute little bees from the game, and this time I made Happy Ghast in 3D using the quilling technique.

Hola a mis queridos Hivers y a la querida comunidad de artistas #HiveDIY, como siempre muy complacida y emocionada de encontrarme por acá nuevamente, mostrándole mi trabajo hecho con mucho amor y especialmente para ustedes.

Para hoy les quise traer una nueva figura basada en el videojuego de construcción Minecraft, la semana pasada realice una de la tierna abejita del juego, esta vez lleve a cabo a Happy Ghast en 3D en la técnica de quilling.

• Start by taking a 2 cm wide piece of white quilling tape and a circle mold. Wrap the tape around the mold, rolling it until all the tape is used up. Seal it with extra-strong white glue and remove it from the mold. You will end up with a hollow circle.
• Shape this hollow circle into a square. This will be the body of the character.
• Take a 2 cm wide piece of white tape and use it to cover the gaps in the square.

• Comenzamos tomando cinta para quilling de color blanco de 2cms de ancho y un molde para círculos, pasaremos la cinta alrededor del molde, enrollamos hasta finalizar con toda la cinta, sellamos con pega blanca extra fuerte, sacamos del molde. Obtendremos un círculo hueco.
• Moldearemos este círculo hueco en forma de cuadrado, este será el cuerpo del personaje.
• Tomé un trozo de cinta blanca de 2cms de ancho y con ella tape los huecos del cuadrado.

• To make the legs, take pieces of white ribbon 1 cm wide. Using a needle, roll up the ribbon, remove it from the needle, loosen it slightly, and seal it with glue to form an open cylinder-shaped circle. You will need six of these.
• Once the cylinders are ready, use your fingers to shape the 6 into rectangles.
• Glue them in rows of 3 to the bottom of the character's body.

• Para realizar las patas tomaremos unos trozos de cintas de color blanca de 1cms de ancho, vamos a realizar con la ayuda de la aguja enrollando toda la cinta, sacando de la aguja, soltando un poco y sellando con pega, un círculo abierto en forma de cilindro. Necesitaremos 6 iguales.
• Listos los cilindros vamos a moldear los 6 con ayuda de los dedos en forma de rectángulos.
• Pegaremos en filas de 3 en la parte de abajo del cuerpo del personaje.

• To make the character's eyebrows, eyes, and mouth, we will cut out small pieces of silver and gray ribbon, as you can see in the images.
• For the pixels on the sides, we will cut out red and silver ribbon and glue it on both sides in the same way. You can see how I did it in the photos.
• To finish off and give the piece protection and strength, I applied a layer of extra-strong white glue and let it dry thoroughly.

This is how I finished this decorative 3D quilling figure of the character Happy Ghast from the building video game Minecraft.

• Para realizar las cejas, ojos y boca del personaje, recortaremos trocitos de cintas plateadas y grises, tal y como pueden ver en las imágenes.
• Para los pixeles de los lados, recortaremos cintas rojas y plateadas e iremos pegando de la misma manera en ambos lados. Pueden apreciar como lo hice en las fotografías.
• Para finalizar darle protección y firmeza a la pieza, apliqué una capa de pega blanca extra fuerte dejando secar muy bien.

De esta manera finalice esta figura decorativa en 3D en la técnica de quilling del personaje Happy Ghast, del videojuego de construcción Minecrast.
