Today I wanted to show you a small figure based on the construction video game Minecraft. I had previously made a commission of the character Enderman for someone here on the platform who asked me to make it for a friend who loves that video game.

Hola a mis queridos Hivers y a la querida comunidad de artistas Diyhub, como siempre muy complacida y emocionada de encontrarme por acá, mostrándole mi trabajo hecho con mucho amor y especialmente para ustedes.

Para hoy les quise traer una pequeña figura basada en el videojuego de construcción Minecraft, ya con anterioridad había realizado una comisión del personaje Enderman, para una persona de acá de la plataforma que me lo confió para un amigo el cual es amante de dicho videojuego.

Hoy les dejo La Abeja de Minecraft, convertida en una pieza decorativa en 3D en la técnica de quilling

Esperando que sea de su agrado, les dejo mi proceso creativo:

• We started by taking a circle mold and a 2 cm wide yellow quilling ribbon, rolled it around the mold, finished with the ribbon, sealed it with extra strong white glue, and removed it from the mold.
• I proceeded to mold it into a rectangle. This will be the body of the bee.
• I took two pieces of yellow tape and stuck them on the hollow sides of the rectangle.
• I took quilling tape of different widths and wrapped it around the body of the rectangle to resemble the spots on bees.

• Comenzamos tomando un molde para círculos y una cinta para quilling de color amarillo de 2cms de ancho, enrollamos alrededor del molde, terminamos con la cinta, sellamos con pega blanca extra fuerte, sacamos del molde.
• Procedí a moldear en forma de rectángulo. Este será el cuerpo de la abeja.
• Tomé 2 trozos de cinta amarilla y las pegué en los lados huecos del rectángulo.
• Tomé cinta para quilling de diferentes medidas de ancho, las pase alrededor del cuerpo del rectángulo para asemejar las manchas de las abejas.

• Using black tape 3 mm wide and a quilling needle, I made four open circles and shaped them into squares. These will be the bee's legs, which I glued to the bottom of the body.
• To make the antennae, I made four small open circles with 2 mm wide black tape and glued them to the front of the bee's head in different positions.

• Con cinta de color negro de 3 mm de ancho realicé con la ayuda de la aguja para quilling, 4 círculos abiertos estos los moldee en forma de cuadrados, serán las patas de la abeja, las pegué en la parte de abajo del cuerpo.
• Para realizar las antenas de la baje realicé 4 pequeños círculos abiertos con cinta negra de 2mm de ancho, los pegué en la parte del frente de la cabeza de la abeja en posiciones diferentes.

• I made the eyes by cutting out two black squares and two smaller white squares, which I glued onto the bee's face.
• I made the bee's wings by making 6 small closed circles with 3mm white tape, which I shaped into squares. I glued these to the top of the body in different positions, as you can see in the pictures.
• Finally, I applied a layer of extra-strong white glue to protect the figure.

This is how I finished this little bee from the Minecraft video game in 3D, using the quilling technique.

• Los ojos los realicé cortando 2 cuadrados de color negro y 2 más pequeños de color blanco, estos los pegué en la cara de la abeja.
• Llevé a cabo las alas de la abeja realizando 6 pequeños círculos cerrados con cinta de color blanco de 3mm, los cuales moldee en forma de cuadrados, estos los pegué en la parte de arriba del cuerpo en posiciones diferentes, tal y como pueden ver en las imágenes.
• Para finalizar apliqué una capa de pega blanca extra fuerte para proteger la figura.

De esta manera finalice esta abejita del vídeo juego Minecraft en 3D, en la técnica de quilling.
