Honoring All Souls' Day // ((Esp/Eng)

Hola amigos, como sabemos que el 2 de noviembre, se honra el Día de los Fieles Difuntos. Este día es para rendir homenaje a nuestros seres queridos que han muerto. Este día tiene como objetivo conmemorar y honrar a los muertos, brindando oraciones y ofrendas para ayudar a que sus almas encuentren la paz eterna y lograr que descansen en paz. Ese día, muchas personas visitan el cementerio para llevar flores a sus seres queridos y encender velas para iluminar a aquellos que ya no están en este plano terrenal. >Hello friends, as we know, November 2 is All Souls' Day. This day is to pay tribute to our loved ones who have passed away. The purpose of this day is to commemorate and honor the dead, offering prayers and gifts to help their souls find eternal peace and rest in peace. On this day, many people visit the cemetery to bring flowers to their loved ones and light candles to illuminate those who are no longer on this earthly plane.
  Es de saber que el pais de México conmemora esta fecha con más énfasis, con el objetivo de rendir homenaje a todos aquellos seres queridos que se fueron a reunirse con su Padre. En este país, se honra esta fecha con gran colorido, pues es posible ver maravillosas obras florales que se llevan a cabo de manera espléndida, ofreciendo comidas y bebidas que fueron del agrado de sus seres queridos. Además, se pintan la cara como si fueran calaveras, lo que simboliza un vínculo entre la vida y la muerte. >It is well known that Mexico commemorates this date with greater emphasis, with the aim of paying tribute to all those loved ones who have gone to be with their Father. In this country, this date is honored with great color, as it is possible to see wonderful floral arrangements that are carried out in a splendid manner, offering food and drinks that were enjoyed by their loved ones. In addition, people paint their faces to look like skulls, symbolizing a link between life and death.
 
La flor de los muertos o caléndula otorga el color naranja y amarillo, que son los colores tradicionales de estas festividades. En mi país, Venezuela, esta celebración es muy distinta a la que se lleva a cabo en otras naciones hispanohablantes. Por lo general, aquí solemos ir al cementerio y decorarlo con flores y velas mientras pasamos tiempo con nuestros seres queridos. Cada país tiene una cultura, creencias e identidad religiosa distintas y las celebra de maneras diferentes que es necesario respetar. >The flower of the dead, or marigold, provides the orange and yellow colors that are traditional for these festivities. In my country, Venezuela, this celebration is very different from that held in other Spanish-speaking countries. Here, we usually go to the cemetery and decorate it with flowers and candles while spending time with our loved ones. Each country has a different culture, beliefs, and religious identity, and celebrates in different ways that must be respected.
  
En este día en particular, honro la memoria de mi hijo que ha fallecido. Por eso, salgo a comprar flores temprano y por la tarde visito el cementerio para adornar su jardín con flores, siempre acompañado de mi familia. Mientras nos encontramos allí, encendemos las velas, oramos y compartimos los recuerdos y la historia de mi hijo y lo bueno que nos dejó en este plano terrenal. Les puedo comunicar que es habitual ir al cementerio en esta fecha, prender velas y de esta manera conservar viva la memoria de nuestros seres queridos. >On this particular day, I honor the memory of my deceased son. That is why I go out early to buy flowers and in the afternoon I visit the cemetery to decorate his grave with flowers, always accompanied by my family. While we are there, we light candles, pray, and share memories and stories about my son and the good things he left us on this earthly plane.
