Recorrido de mi viaje de Maturín para Cumaná // (Esp/Eng)

Hola amigos, quiero relatarles cómo fue mi viaje de regreso de Maturín a mi ciudad Cumaná junto a mi nieto Gael. Honestamente, cada vez que recorro esta área, siento que me enamoro más de mi pais Venezuela. Cada pueblo tiene su propia historia, representa un pasado lleno de vida, y evoca nostalgia. Por lo tanto, cuando tengo la oportunidad de transitar por estos rumbos, me detengo a adquirir algunas cosas. Realmente, es increíble vivir esta experiencia. > Hello friends, I want to tell you about my trip back from Maturin to my city Cumana with my grandson Gael. Honestly, every time I travel through this area, I feel that I fall more in love with my country Venezuela. Each town has its own history, represents a past full of life, and evokes nostalgia. Therefore, when I have the opportunity to travel through these parts, I stop to buy a few things. Really, it is incredible to live this experience.
  
De regreso a mi ciudad, disfruto de cada vista, del clima, de la lluvia y de su gente. Realmente hay tantas cosas que deseo compartir y a veces me resulta difícil salir del carro a tomar fotos, porque se vuelve agotador y el trayecto se hace más tiempo. Imaginen si nos detuviéramos en cada pueblo, eso me tomaría más de un día, ya que hay tantos lugares que invitan a hacer una parada. A mí me encanta porque de este modo puedo aprender más sobre mi país y sobre estas regiones que tienen muchas historias por contar. > On the way back to my city, I enjoy every view, the weather, the rain and the people. There really are so many things I want to share and sometimes I find it difficult to get out of the car to take pictures, because it gets tiring and the drive takes longer. Imagine if we stopped in every town, it would take me more than a day, because there are so many places that invite you to stop. I love it because this way I can learn more about my country and about these regions that have so many stories to tell.
  
En este largo recorrido fuimos haciendo varias paradas. Una de las primeras fue para comprar casabe, puesto que a mi madre le encanta ese que venden en el estado Monagas. Luego, nos detuvimos para comprar arepas, chicharrón, jojotos y tamarindo chino, una fruta bastante rica y que muy poco encontramos en la ciudad. También compramos aguacates, aprovechando que están en temporada, ya que en todo ese camino por Río Cocollar los venden a un precio muy bueno. Unas de las cosas que me alegraron del viaje fue que mi esposo estaba en busca de manteca de cerdo y finalmente la conseguimos. > In this long journey we made several stops. One of the first stops was to buy cassava, since my mother loves the cassava they sell in the state of Monagas. Then we stopped to buy arepas, chicharrón, jojotos and tamarindo chino, a very tasty fruit that we rarely find in the city. We also bought avocados, taking advantage of the fact that they are in season, since they are sold at a very good price all the way along the Cocollar River. One of the things that made me happy about the trip was that my husband was looking for lard and we finally got it.
  
Unas de las cosas que descubrimos últimamente es que por una casa en Cocollar venden hallacas todo el año, mi esposo el probo y le gustaron mucho, así que cuando pasamos por ese lugar nos detuvimos; aunque esta vez no tenían disponibles, pero el señor Carlos nos aseguró que nos las iba a enviar para Cumana. Aunque allí aproveché la ocasión para tomar algunas fotos junto a sus plantas de rosas. Disfruto mucho del clima en esta área, es tan acogedor que invita a quedarse. En resumen, amigos, lo más importante de este viaje es que estamos conociendo más nuestro pais y haciendo nuevos amigos cada día y eso es muy importante. > One of the things we discovered lately is that in a house in Cocollar they sell hallacas all year round, my husband tried them and liked them very much, so when we passed by that place we stopped; although this time they were not available, but Mr. Carlos assured us that he was going to send them to Cumana. Although there I took the opportunity to take some pictures next to his rose plants. I really enjoy the weather in this area, it is so cozy that invites you to stay. In summary, friends, the most important thing about this trip is that we are getting to know our country better and making new friends every day and that is very important.    Llegamos a nuestra casa a buena hora, aunque me sentía algo cansada. Sin embargo, Gael estaba muy emocionado de regresar a su ciudad favorita y disfrutar de unos días con nosotros. Gracias por leer.
